First time here and loved it! Angie was very helpful and attentive as soon as I walked in. Very good customer service really respectful and friendly. I felt welcomed and comfortable the atmosphere was full of joy inside this optical. I would highly recommend them for your next eye exam. They are very flexible with your schedule. I was in dire need of new contacts and Angie squeezed me right in with no hesitation. Professional, personable and helped me maximize eye benefits package so I get the most for my money. I would highly recommend this place for your eyewear. The doctor was very friendly and his expertise can not be rivaled. I have tried other locations and always had issues. Personally I will consider him my new eye doctor. I've been wearing glasses/contacts for almost 15 years, and my experience with Foreyes stood out. The staff was friendly and professional, and Angie showed she truly cares about her customers. She took her time to ensure I saved money, got better glasses and better contacts. I'm not being incentivized or told to write this review, I'm writing it because they are the type of business that deserves 10 stars. Do yourself a favor and go in and be welcomed by such a awesome staff, you won't regret it!

I got a standard eye exam (as a walk-in) and ordered a new pair of glasses as well. Kwanza was incredibly friendly and made the whole process as easy as possible. She conducted the preliminary exams efficiently, carefully explained the procedure for the virtual meeting with the optometrist, and helped me understand my options as far as ordering new lenses and frames. Overall a wonderful experience, highly recommend this place!

I was in dire need of glasses so spur of the moment me and my partner decided to head to Walgreens because we knew about they carried the eye pharmacy. When we arrived Melody was at the desk and was extremely pleasant. She had the best personality and was a pleasure, and then shortly after that we met Ms. Angie. We were inquiring about which insurance would be better for us to use because my partner in an employee as well but we didn't know all the restrictions to using the insurance. Ms. Angie made a mission to get us answers and she did! Minutes after she said give me a second I'll find out for you she came back with answers and cleared all our questions. Absolutely amazing! She administer the first part of my exam and was quick and pleasant. The eye doctor was very knowledgeable and easy to work with and honestly I just love the entire eye care staff. When my exam was done Ms. Angie helped me pick the perfect glasses for my buck! She was absolutely amazing. Melody was as well. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and I will be returning! Great job!

I had a great experience here. Angie & Barbara were so extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I was taken care of right away, on time with my scheduled appointment. The optometrist was also courteous and helpful, explaining and suggesting features that I could opt for with my new glasses. It took approximately a week 1/2, and when I picked them up and put them on I was like "wow!" Such a huge difference in clarity! I highly recommend coming here.

I'm new to Chicago and was referred to For Eyes by a co-worker. I was skeptical because I usually go to private optometrists. Well I could not be more satisfied. It was an awesome experience! Angela was very helpful and professional. She took time to show many the different frame options covered by my insurance, she was meticulous measuring my eyes for the glasses. My experience at the For-eyes Hyde Park location was great. There was only one worker(Quanza) available whom had to deal with multiple people with multiple attitudes. They way she dealt with being there by herself was amazing. Even though some people was very rude to her as if it was her fault for being there by herself. I love the way she gave no attitude to anyone even the ones that gave it to her. Quanza was very helpful and she explained everything every step of the way. I give 10 stars to her.

Kwanza is the absolute sweetest ever! She was training a new person, handling 2 people other than me and still made me feel cared about! She also made sure I was okay during the glaucoma test, which is always hard for me because I have eye trauma and don't like things near my eye. Most people act like annoying for being anxious but she helped me take deep breathes and calm down! She also was being harassed by a unpleasant man because she asked him to wear a mask and she handled it beautifully! The doctors were also so helpful and sweet and I loved the zoom call!! My glasses were also ready not even a week later! I've only been to this location since 2020 and will continue to come as long as Kwanza is still there!

The whole experience was so easy and convenient. Staff were so easy to talk to, the facility is clean, the remote doctor was very professional, the eye check-up using robot-assisted like system was so comfortable, fast, and efficient, and the price is reasonable. I will go back for my annual check-up.
