I brought my son here for an eye exam and we had a great experience with Dr. Joanna Slusky. She was very kind, professional, and explained everything clearly. My son also needed glasses, and the staff helped us choose a great pair. The office is beautiful and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been going to the practice for years and all of the doctors have been great. Recently I had an eye infection and the practice manager, Jeimy, and eyewear consultant, Angie, went way above and beyond to help me get new glasses in less than a day. They were so kind, helpful, and very sweet to my young daughter. I love that you can text to communicate with them. Cannot recommend this practice enough for the whole family.

I have been taking my son to Halsted Eye Boutique since he was five years old. He's going on thirteen now! We just love this not so hidden, but definitely a gem. Dr. Slusky had a vision (which in retrospect I feel privy) that she shared with me about the type of experience she wanted her client to have .. Since then, she has totally transformed her office space into the boutique it has become today. Also, at the same time Growing her business, and bringing on new partners. She stays in touch with advancements in technology giving her clients more options to suit their needs both financially as well as health wise. The pictures shown are a great upgrade, but since then she's made even more updates .. creating a very warm and friendly safe space environment for all. Dr. Slusky, her fellow partners like Dr. Patel and her newest members are all great. Her assistant staff members like Nancy and Dillon will work with you to make sure you never feel overwhelmed. Her technicians are interpersonal and even the receptionist seem to be on par with her desire to make her Dr's office the best choice for your eye care needs. I just love the fact that Dr. Slusky has personally curated her staff to compliment her mission.

You don't need glasses or contacts to see how great Halsted Eye Boutique is. I had a new patient exam and it was nothing short of a wonderful experience. Booking an appointment was quick and easy. The communication beforehand was great as I tend to forget I booked appointments. The front desk person, Nat, was welcoming and helped me with all of my new patient forms. My tech, Dayam, was the sweetest! She made sure I was comfortable and explained all the tests performed. Dr. Tracy Becherer was professional, kind, and thorough. She answered all of my questions with such care and could tell she puts in the same type of effort towards all of her patients. Overall my experience was positive! I would recommend this place (or their other office in Ravenswood) to all! Shoutout to the amazing team for making my appointment a great time!

I've been here regularly for the past two years. The doctors and staff here are incredible. I appreciate how the doctors educate you on all things eye health as well as the best options for contacts and glasses. And they have free snacks! It's a welcoming environment while also feeling so upscale. Some times there are things you can't control and there was a frustrating experience with a rebate but the office was such an ease to work with and they rectified the situation quickly. Not many places have such exceptional customer service these days and I so appreciate all they do! I try to support local businesses and highly recommend Halsted Eye for your eye health needs!

After several years with the same eyewear store, staff changes made me go on the search for a fresh experience. I visited several stores but just didn't get an engaging experience. Then I found it! Halsted Eye Boutique in Chicago is absolutely outstanding. Immediately upon entering you realize that it's going to be a favorable experience. The high-end and comfy waiting area furniture is welcoming and begins your experience with a relaxed vibe. The boutique has a fantastic selection of stylish, high-quality frames and cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, so the whole experience feels modern, professional and yet very personal. The optometrist was thorough, making me feel confident about my prescription. In my case, I had a particular designer frame in mind. Jake D. and Angie N. immediately embraced the style I was looking for and ended up special ordering a frame so that I got exactly the style and look I wanted, even accepting my insurance on a frame (while they did carry the designer brand) that was not in the store. THANK YOU! They did a fantastic job explaining my lens options and helped me make the perfect choice. Returning to collect my new glasses, again, a great experience. Both Jake and Angie went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I am also still very fond of frames from two years ago that I wore into the store but they needed some TLC. Jake and Angie both worked on an adjustment, replacing a screw, and making sure that I had a perfect fit with both my new and old (now back-up) glasses. This is a long review but I can't say enough about how attentive ALL the team members were and how valued I felt when I left Halsted Eye Boutique (Halstead Street store) with the perfect glasses and a lasting positive impression.
