I had a terrible experience trying to set up an appointment on the phone. Firstly, I called three times and waited each time for over 30 mins before giving up. When I was finally able to connect the person who picked up was very short. I was trying to give my vision insurance details, but she cut me off very impatiently. Then she apparently ran the incomplete insurance details and proceeded to tell me that our insurance didn't come up. I said that we had checked our insurance at another clinic and it was valid, she replied that nothing in front of her eyes showed it was valid. I thought it was an absolutely despicable way to speak to someone who had been nothing but polite. I hung up then, made an appointment at Vision Works and had a much better experience.

I had a great experience! Long eye exam but didn't mind waiting. 1st thorough and best eye exam ever. I will definitely return next year the staff and Dr were all great and explained every procedure

They don't care about Client here, we always got here on time still need to wait about 20 mins at least to 1 hour ! we push away our important things or business to got here on time , our time is valuable, than every single time they just told busy for training students ! We paid cash , suppose clients more important than training, I mean you could training any other time , but we made appointment and got here on time, besides they check my daughter eyes with different students each time irritating her eyes , this is definitely unfair to us . I wish I could know this place before , may change to different place .

I waited over a month and finally decided to just give them a call for my contact lenses to arrive. And all of a sudden they called me back for an appointment. When I got my contacts, I could barely see all of them. Dr. McGee does not know what he is doing. Then I changed to Dr. Scoob, same problem. Then for the first time in my life, I returned a pair of contacts and went somewhere else. I have never done that before. Americas Best did a better job! The Lincoln Ave location.

I've been going to the illinois eye institute since I was a child. This is. The first time I wrote a post regarding how awesome they are. Everyone in there is very professional and details. I visited the cornea contact area for my yearly appointment. and I tell you every last one of them. Young ladies,and management is awesome, you should visit.

This place is beyond unprofessional. I called and scheduled an appointment and I arrived at my scheduled time just for them to tell me no appointment is scheduled. I ensured I had the right date and time prior to ending the call with the agent because regardless of their texts I like to put appointments on my own calendar. I was forced to schedule an appointment three weeks out. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this place but it will definitely be the last.

Very nice facility the long time is unbearable unnecessary waiting after your eyes have been waiting dilated after dilation 10:30am been sitting now 11:17am I'm still sitting after dilation waiting the best way to build the insurance company the long way wait the more money they make offer you still being in the building .

I usually love this place I've grown up coming here, the wait time is usually very short or the appointment is very long. But recently and today I've tried to get my new glasses and the place was closed, then we tried again today the website said open and closed at 1pm then the place was closed?? You guys need to fix your schedule because this is just unnecessary driving.
