Most of my doctors are through loyola and Dr. Raiji was helping over there, thats when I told my rheumatologist about the uveitis and she recommended me Dr. Raiji. First visit in 2023 and absolutely loved her, very intelligent and knows patient care knows how to empathize with her patients and does whatever she can to help you. I am so glad Dr. Popescu and Dr. Schneider suggested Dr. Raiji!

I highly recommend Illinois Retina Associates and its superb eye specialist, Dr. Jack Cohen. IRA is directly connected to Rush University Medical Center, a renowned health care facility and teaching hospital. The outer office appearance is very nice and comfortable. The IRA desk staff are excellent. More importantly, the rooms behind the public area are top-notch medical facilities. All of the technicians who did my first set of necessary exams were excellent. For the detailed examination Dr. Cohen was engaged, professional, comprehensive, communicative, and clear. I consider myself very lucky to have found him and IRA. If you unfortunately have a retina issue, you should take this review as valuable advice on where to go and who to see.

Doctors, nurses, and staff are great!! The wait was unreasonable. I went for an early appointment at 8:45. I thought I might be the first one with no one in the waiting room. I reminded them of a test that was planned 6 months ago. I waited 2 hours to take the test!! My routine visit took 4 hours total. Most of it was spent in the waiting room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. But timing is horrible there my appointment was for 2 pm. I was on my lunch I did not see the Doctor until 3 pm needless to say I was late going back to work. The Doctor was not apologetic came in the room hello like he was not late. Very disappointing our time is just as valuable as the Doctors.

I have had diabetes since I was 5 years old. I started having diabetic retinopathy very early on. Dr. Packo has always taken care of me as if I were a son to him. I cannot say enough for the care I have received over the past 20 years of going here (I'm 32) except for thank you. The staff is friendly and care is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Dr. Packo is the best! He explains all - is never in a hurry, his credentials are top notch and his skills as a retina surgeon superb. His staff is nice and trained well, and his incredible poster collection can keep one busy during the time between office procedures. I highly recommend him and this practice.
