I have been seeing Dr Williams for several years and she has taken care of many eye and facial issues for me including everything from cosmetic procedures to surgery to remove a growth. I even followed her from her previous practice--long drive and all!! Besides providing excellent care she has always been gentle, patient, and kind. I had a blepharoplasty done on my eyelids and I have to say I was really nervous but Dr Williams explained the whole procedure and made me feel so comfortable. I'm only 6 weeks post op and my eyes look amazing. I got nervous because its so hard to find a good doctor especially for the eyes. But I have to say what a great job she did. It takes a few months yet for the healing process. I cant wait. We did this for my vision and it was clear 2 days after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Williams and she has several offices so I didn't have to drive so far for my surgery. Thank you again Dr Williams

Dr. Williams is an outstanding physician in every way. I knew something was going on with my eye and she was patient, compassionate, and understanding as she investigated what was going on. She was thorough and more than willing to go above and beyond, staying late and using all of her resources and colleagues to find out what was going on. She made it clear that my concern was important and urgent for her to figure out and followed up with me to ensure I was in good hands. Few physicians are as personable, knowledgeable, and caring as Dr. Williams!

Dr. Kenya Williams is phenomenal! She is knowledgeable, professional, and has a wonderful bed-side manner. I have never met a ophthalmologist that takes the amount of time to properly diagnose a problem, and answer any and all questions during our visit. She goes the extra mile for her patients, for example, she has called me numerous times after visits to provide additional information, which has provided our family with peace of mind. She has also accommodated emergency visits for my family, which has been a lifesaver. We absolutely love her and would recommend her to anyone!
In addition, the support staff including her receptionists and nurses are all amazing as well. They are always friendly, professional, and helpful every visit.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Williams and was extremely impressed by her thoroughness and bedside manner. I did have to wait a while for her once I arrived at my appointment but I could understand why. She spent a lot of time with me in the room. Not only did she take the time to listen to my issue but took her time explaining my care plan and it didn't feel rushed. I was very comfortable with her and the care I received. Overall it was an exceptional experience and would highly recommend Dr. Williams.

Dr. Williams is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of problems of the eyelid, eye socket and tear duct that are a result of aging, trauma and tumors. In her busy surgical practice, she exclusively performs reconstructive and aesthetic surgery on the eyelids and surrounding tissue. A native of Hyde Park, Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate education at Spelman College and then returned to the Chicago area where she received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School.
