Coyote is in a league of his own--truly in the top 1% when it comes to client focus. His glass selection is amazing, and his meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire process is unmatched. I needed my prescription sunglasses before my trip, and he got them done that evening and had them couriered over. I truly appreciate his craftsmanship. I've been getting my glasses from him for over 10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Hands down my favorite shop in town. Coyote always goes above and beyond to make sure your specs are looking and fitting well. 11/10 recommend.

I gotta tell you that this was the coolest eyeglass shop i've ever been to. Very unique styles that stand out. I made an appointment w/ Coyote. What a cool dude! Very interesting guy and stories to match! I ended buying a pair of reading glasses and a pair of sunglasses. I've gotten multiple compliments on my reading glasses and now waiting for the weather to break to rock my new sunnies. Great overall experience and will be back!

Lab Rabbit is the by far the best optical shop in Chicago for unique and well crafted frames. Coyote is always friendly, funny, and patient. His selection is beautifully curated and he takes plenty of time with his customers to help them choose frames to suit both their anatomy and tastes. The best!

Working with Coyote to get my glasses was such a smooth experience. I set up an appointment and came in with some frames in mind that I wanted to look at. He also pulled some suggestions for me to try. He made a really good call on some Opticianado frames that would work really well with my high prescription and fit my face proportionally. The lens thickness is the most minimal I have ever had on my glasses. Very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend, especially to those who have very high prescriptions and can really use that extra bit of custom service.

Here's a howl for Coyote! Thanks for all the great glasses over the years. I'm a big fan of the various Japanese designer frames in the shop. Lab Rabbit Optics is the only place I go for frames and lens-- he's a master of the craft and helpful.

I highly recommend Lab Rabbit Optics. This little optical shop offers a unique and authentic experience you will not find anywhere else. Coyote who owns the space has impeccable taste in quality and design. All of his frames are artfully curated amongst an array of plants and curiosities, which makes for an playful shopping experience. Plus there is a diverse selection of "cool" frames. A little something for everyone. I sometimes have a hard time making decisions when selecting frames, I get overwhelmed easily and like to try everything on multiple times. Coyote was very patient and professional when helping me to pick out the perfect pair of sunglasses. Also his knowledge and attention to detail really impressed me. I felt very taken care of and I will absolutely be back!

I'm very satisfied with my new prescription glasses. The glasses are very good quality, fit perfect and look great. Above all, I appreciate the top level customer service. Coyote is very experienced, professional and has a strong passion for his work. He was very patient while I was browsing frames and provided suggestions. Then, he measured me and the frames that I chose and made sure the frames would fit well. He also provided advice, took the time to see if I had any questions, listened and explained things in detail. Initially it was challenging for me to schedule a visit because I am used to stop casually by optical stores but the entire experience was customized to ensure high quality glasses, great value and outstanding service.
