Perfect experience at Lake Shore Retina. They got me in on very short notice after my insurance caused problems with the other ophthalmologist I was supposed to see that same day. I had Dr. Ahuja (both he and Dr. Maguluri are at this practice, depending on the day), and he was excellent. Carried out the exam very professionally, explained some key points, answered questions readily, friendly and good humor. Jumping through insurance hoops has been annoying, but the doctors I've seen have all been wonderful.

I could have sworn that I had previously left a Google Places review for this clinic but it appears that I hadn't (maybe it was Yelp or ZocDoc where I had left a review because I'm pretty sure that I did write a review) . Anyway, this review is for Dr. Richard Ahuja who has got to be one of the best ophthalmologists in the Chicago area. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable, has excellent "bedside manner," and patiently listens to all your questions and answers them with clarity. His genuine concern and compassion for his patients really comes through and I cannot recommend his services enough.
