Dr. Violi was exceptional, thorough, precise, and incredibly knowledgeable. This was easily the most detailed eye exam I've ever had, yet everything moved quickly and efficiently. I felt genuinely cared for and confident in my prescription. Great experience all around. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at LensCrafters on 225 N Michigan Ave. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was welcoming, professional, and attentive. The office was clean, organized, and ran very efficiently, which immediately made me feel comfortable. My appointment with Dr. Violi truly exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say I have never had such a thorough eye exam in my life. Dr. Violi was incredibly knowledgeable and explained every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. He didn't rush through anything, yet somehow managed to be impressively fast and efficient at the same time. Every test felt purposeful and detailed, and he made sure to answer all of my questions completely. What stood out most was how comprehensive the exam was. Dr. Violi took the time to ensure my prescription was perfectly accurate and carefully checked the overall health of my eyes. I left feeling confident that nothing was overlooked. It's rare to find a doctor who combines expertise, efficiency, and genuine care so seamlessly. The staff also made the experience exceptional. They were patient, helpful, and knowledgeable when assisting me with frame selection, making the entire visit smooth from start to finish. If you're looking for top-tier eye care in downtown Chicago, I highly recommend this location. This was by far the best eye exam I've ever had, and I will definitely be returning.

I have been coming here for ages and not just because of the convenience of being able to make appointments for Sundays. The eye doctors here are all thorough and knowledgeable and committed to their patients, but what sets this office apart from other locations is the kind, efficient staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make the experience pleasant, comfortable, and easy. Heather is always tremendously helpful; Kevin is so friendly and fun and gives great, sensible advice (turns out he's always been right!); and I count on Jean to choose the perfect frames for me because she has impeccable taste and knows what I like and what will work with my prescription and my face. I enjoy my visits and am always happy with the results. The follow-up and reminders are perfect, too.

Great experience as always. Heather was amazing, gave me two free boxes of contact solution and even put my eye glasses in a cloth bag on the way out. Dr.djordjevic was great as well. Knowledgeable and informative. She knew her stuff!

Went in for my eye exam and contacts, Dr Violi was attentive , Heather was very efficient as well. Overall was a good experience at 225 N Michigan Ave. Have been a customer for 20 plus years. Good selection of Eyewear as well, have purchased over the years. Would recommend this location.

Walk in the store to purchase glasses I saw on the website. Was told they were only sold online and that If I decide to buy online lens crafters store cannot assist with repairing them or assisting with them unless I send back to lens crafters. I ended up calling lens crafter and they told me they do sell the glasses in the store. I just needed to go to a separate location. Not sure why the staff told me the wrong information. They also tried to tell me my glasses and lenses with a sale is 380. I kept telling the staff to specifically follow the directions of the lenses I specifically wanted but it was as if he wanted to follow a more expensive lenses that I told him I did not want. Despite explaining 3 times nothing was adjusted and I walked out. I ended up going to the other locations at the Roosevelt collection and they were able to handle everything I needed with no issue.

I live in El Salvador but traveled to Chicago for the Oasis concert. For weeks I had been struggling with blurred vision because of a wrong prescription. I was dealing with dizziness, depersonalization, and panic attacks--I felt devastated and hopeless. I arrived in Chicago unable to see well, but with the help of ChatGPT I found this LensCrafters, and suddenly there was hope: the idea of getting simple vision glasses within hours felt like an impossible dream turned real. On Thursday, August 28, I went with my brother and met Kyle. In that very moment, I was in the middle of a severe panic attack and asked if there was a sofa I could sit on. Kyle was incredibly kind--he not only offered me the sofa, but also a private room if I needed space. That gesture meant everything to me. I brought my prescription, and thanks to that they had my glasses ready in less than three hours. I could finally see much better--enough to attend the concert, walk the city, and ease my anxiety in my favorite city in the world. Kyle was extraordinary. He did more than his job--he truly empathized with me, and I will never forget that. On Saturday, August 30, I returned because my Salvadoran prescription still wasn't right. Kyle helped me again, arranging for me to see both the optometrist and the ophthalmologist. Thanks to Dr. Kujah and the kind optometrist (whose name I regret not asking), I finally received the correct prescription. In less than 15 minutes, my left lens was corrected, and my glasses were perfect. For the first time in weeks--I COULD SEE. What happened during those days was incredible, and none of it would have been possible without Kyle's support, Dr. Kujah's expertise, and the kindness/professionalism of the optometrist girl and the boss. LensCrafters is what it is because of people like YOU!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, guiding me through the process of selecting the perfect pair of glasses. The store has a wide selection of frames, catering to various styles and budgets. The optometrist was thorough and took the time to explain the details of my eye exam. My glasses were ready quickly, and the fit was perfect. Overall, I highly recommend this location for anyone in need of new eyewear or a comprehensive eye exam.
