Lyons Family Eye Care - Lakeview

We were thrilled to work with such an easy eye appointment for my 5 year old and myself. Imaging was an extra fee (maybe $39?) but it was worth doing, imo, with my aging eyes. My daughter was able to choose from letters or shapes and animals to figure out how her eye sight was. She was great the entire appointment and left happy, especially since she got to watch a movie in the exam room with me. I am happy to recommend Lyons Family Eye Care for anyone especially those with children who may not confidently know their numbers or alphabet yet. I also appreciated that I wasn't getting a hard sale on getting glasses for my small prescription!

I've been a patient at Lyons Family Eye Care for years because the care they provide is exceptional. I had some questionable experiences at other eye docs around Chicago, so I was looking for an honest, professional practice with integrity, and that's exactly what Lyons provides. Everyone I've encountered, from scheduling to checking in to preliminary tests to the doctors themselves, is warm, welcoming, and skilled. I appreciate the detailed, straightforward explanations everyone provides (especially the doctors), and I recommend Lyons to everyone. Also, I learned from a family friend that if you have kids, this is THE place to take them. I'm so glad to have found this excellent practice!

I've used Lyons for both my kindergartner and myself, and I've been very happy with both experiences. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they made us feel comfortable every step of the way. They detected a retinal condition that two other doctors missed, which has made a huge difference for me. I'm so grateful for the care and attention we've received.

I had my annual eye exam at Lyons Family Eye Care, and they were amazing from start to finish. The team helped me book my appointment with ease and clearly explained what was needed versus what was just nice to have. My eye exam was smooth and easy, and they took the time to help me find the right prescription. Everyone was incredibly patient and helpful, especially when walking me through my updated insurance and helping me try on frames. The entire experience was phenomenal, and I couldn't recommend them more.

I love the Lyon's team so so much. Been coming for a few years now and man they really know how to take care of you. Every appointment is stress free and a fun welcoming environment. Dr Lyons has always been so informative and helpful with my struggles. The customer service though is out of this world. Today my last contact ripped and I was so stressed as the holidays are coming up and I am a bartender- using my glasses is AWFUL. They set me up with an emergency pair and helped me get set with my next appointment. As long as I am in Chicago I will come here. Used to live in Logan and I still travel from the southside to come here. Thank you again Casey and the team!

Dr Lyons and team is amazing! We were referred for our son's eye issues by our pediatrician. The entire staff is friendly and professional and wonderful with kids. Our 4 year old loves it there and would strongly recommend to anyone.

Everything was smooth and simple, from making the appointment online to the actual appointment itself. Staff listened and were very knowledgeable and helpful. The Dr was very straightforward and likeable, he was a hit with my almost 13 year old (which is impressive)!
