Rosin Eyecare - Chicago Hyde Park

I've been fortunate to know Dr. Ross for over a decade. His expertise, care, and warm personality make every visit enjoyable, and he has consistently ensured my eyes remain healthy as I age. While Rosin Eye Care's glasses are more expensive than other outlets, I continue to patronize them because of the excellent service I receive from Dr. Ross. I also think the new doctor is very nice as well. My main concern, however, is the level of respect and customer service displayed by the staff. Customer service is very important to me, and over the years I have not seen excellent or good service upheld. The manager, though kind and accommodating, stands out positively, but I believe the remaining staff needs training which is necessary to bring the overall service up to the standard patients deserve. All patient is unique, as no patient will be the same; hence, you have to treat each separately. It saddens me and I sincerely hope they could either revamp the staff or train them better. Sadly when Mr. Ross leaves, I will have to find another eye doctor.

Harold is a treasure! So easy to work with and an expert on frames. He made it easy to find exactly what I wanted. The rest of the staff is also top notch, friendly and warm. I walked in at a super busy moment and they were all calm, cool and genuinely friendly. Dr. Ross is charming and skilled. An overall great experience in Hyde Park. I thought when I was sitting there waiting that these people love working here, they aren't fake nice, they are happy nice. I highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Rosin. I had a soft contact lens stuck in my eye and was dealing with severe irritation. I called, and they were able to see me the same day. They resolved the issue quickly, and I truly cannot thank them enough. Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The customer service was outstanding.

I visited the Hyde Park location this morning, and I felt very uncomfortable, to say the least. I am still getting over the office that left us abandoned in South Shore, not long aga. The staff other than receptionist, was cold and thd attire was certainly unprofessional looking. I was giving a box of glasses and was instructed to select my pair. The individual left me there and walk away. Once she returned, I ask where was the manager, she indicated to me that she was the manager. I ask her name, she provided her name. The ware several changes made since my last visit, such as we don't take partial payments, etc. I asked for a print out of my charges, she gave me a copy of my receipt instead. After a while, she may have picked up, my tone, and then an only did I received some courtesy. Overall the office staff was cold and unlike what I was accustomed to. The unprofessional dress was shocking, this my observation and certainly not what I am accustomed to. PS: If I am not mistaken the person that has always taken care of me, is Harold, one of the nicest people one would have working for them. He was not there, and I asked about him, I was told he wasn't there! He is the reason why I remained at this location for as long as I gave. I believe if he was there, this situation may have not happened. I uselly look for him, when I come in, I didn't see him. And of course Dr. Ross, another highly professional person there. I am giving kudos., to those who deserve them. The black female and the other black male gives this cold atmosphere when you come in, which gives you an unwelcome feeling!

This was my first visit and I felt totally comfortable from the time I was greeted until I left the facility. I enjoyed laughter with the receptionist, the technician and the Optometrist who saw me. I look forward to my return visit.

I am shocked by the thoughtlessness and negligent response of this establishment. They cancel appointments without reason, then claim several weeks wait, then do not return messages requesting interim eyecare until they are available, then they state they can't give interim care because the prescription is expired (because of their inefficiency). I can not recommend this staff

Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Ross takes time to explain things and answer questions. Very positive experience.

Really appreciate this location. Modern decor that feels inviting, amazing staff that explains things clearly, and great doctors. I wish I had visited here sooner.
