I finally decided to visit an eye doctor after about 5 years of my last eye exam which many know can be a bit stressful with figuring out which place to trust & figuring out if they accept your insurance and what not. Well visiting this place got rid of all my worries. Appointment was very easy to set up online or by phone. Dr Mary was very easy going & very knowledgeable about any questions I had. She explained my eyes condition & turns out I had a bit of astigmatism which I never knew about since it wasn't really much but it was still very good to know. I went in for contact lenses so she recommended me Acuvue Oasys with my prescription to try out for a week which was enough time to see if they were the right fit or not which was perfect! My insurance (County Care) gave me a $300 limit to spend so I stayed in my budget and only got half a year supply. The full year supply wasn't really much out of pocket expensive either but you can always choose what you think is best for you! The receptionist was very helpful & was very understanding of what I wanted so that just made the experience very nice. Thank you Sylvester Eye Care your team was awesome & I'll be very happy to return for any of my eye care needs! Highly Recommend this awesome place!!

Dr Silvestere is personable and fun to talk to and her staff was lovely and approached immediately when I started looking at glasses to show me their very simple and clear price system and how it would interact with my insurance. They brought out a bunch of other cute choices once they knew what I liked. Totally recommend these guys if you want to have a nice time at the eye doctor and avoid that "oooo the cute pairs are all too expensive" feeling !

My recent visit to Dr. Mary Elaine Silvester's office was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, her warm and friendly staff made me feel right at home. Dr. Silvester's expertise shone through as she patiently answered my questions about LASIK surgery and ptosis treatments. Her thorough eye examination left no stone unturned, and she took the time to address every ophthalmology query I had. I really like this ophthalmologist, Dr. Silvestre is very kind and attentive to her patients, I think what I don't like very much is the new receptionist, the previous receptionist made you feel welcome, she smiled at you, greeted you and was very friendly . The new receptionist, yes, she asks you how she can help you, but she makes you feel uncomfortable because of her unfriendly attitude that it seems like she's angry all the time.

Got the pleasure to meet Dr. Mary Silvestre. She was very informative and gave sound advice. Her exam was thorough and she was very patient too. I'm Filipina (and she is too) and we got to bond over that. Very friendly and I would come back again. There is parking in the alley by the way! I didn't know originally since this was my first time here. Be sure to ask!

So happy with this office, and staff. There was a little hiccup with my son's appt, but they were able to squeeze us in the same day. The receptionist was really nice and polite and so was the Dr. she was really patient and friendly with my 7yr old. I was happy overall, and now I scheduled an appt for me. :)

I love this place! I've been coming here for almost 4 years and it's always a great experience. Dr is super insightful on everything and always helps me pick out the best frames(she even fixed my frames that I accidentally broke) Staff is always amazing as well! They even have a section you can drop your phone to charge while your getting your eye exam, super convenient!
