The Chicago Lighthouse

The Chicago Lighthouse is the real deal. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the mission in action, and the people here make it happen with equal parts heart and professionalism. I've consistently been impressed by how thoughtfully they support individuals who are blind, visually impaired, disabled, and veterans, while also delivering high-quality services and programs that make a measurable impact. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely committed to helping people thrive. If you're looking to support an organization that changes lives every day and runs like a well-oiled machine while doing it, I can't recommend The Chicago Lighthouse enough.

Customer service is terrible. Transferred me over from line to line without any help. The medical professional himself, Brian coffy had his resident do all the work and she was very slow, and did not seem to understand things. They ran my insurance for what I would say were unnecessary things since I had already had the same procesadores done at other clinics within that week. Big waste of time. Oh they also tried selling me a magnifier for $40 but I found it on Amazon for $9. Definitely a money making place.

I'm impressed with what they have done with the efficiency and take care of employees with special needs.

If your a big truck making deliveries, enter off of wood st. And Crenshaw. Docks are tight but doable

My experience with Julie and The Chicago Lighthouse today was terrific and with TCL's helpful hand I completed my phone order. I'm most pleased with the kindness and for the ability of the call center to call me back and reestablish a fresh connection needed to reset the payment system which worked like a charm. In fact, most of my 50 plus phone payments and interactions with TCL customer service has been satisfactory. Past review: I called today at 4:45pm before closing and after 15min of being on hold a customer service agent pretended they couldn't hear me before disconnecting the call. She ended up hanging up on me but not before saying "why are you calling so late" and telling me to call back. The problem with calling back after closing hours is they don't take calls and even worse I'm certain this is something she does regularly. This women should be fired for being irresponsible, uncourteous, rude and because of not doing the one reason she was hired, customer service. Its a catch 22 because driving on toll ways in Illinois requires an Ipass to pay tolls. I understand "The Chicago Light House" hires veterans, people with disabilities and from low income communities but hiring bad help is a bad look.

i went in to buy a product, a clock, they did not have it. They immediately took me to the industrial area and built the one that I wanted.They offered me water and a nice place to sit and wait. They could not have been more accommodating and professional. No extra charge. I was in and out in less than thirty minutes.
