My day started with Kim who was assisting a customer upon my arrival, however she was polite and still managed to provide help to the customer she was helping when I arrived, as well as assisting me. My appointment was one of the first of the day so the doctor wasn't in the office yet (which was understandable). When Dr. Mike arrived I had no idea he was the doctor because he was such a laid back, chill guy in such a good way. My son has autism and is nonverbal, and Dr. Mike went above and beyond. My son is scared to go to doctors office as he thinks hes going to get a shot, and he doesn't understand that yet so he cried a great deal of the exam. THAT DID NOT INTERFERE WITH THE EXAM, Dr. Mike was patient with my son and understanding, it almost brought me to tears. I usually check the reviews before I try a new place and they didn't lie about this place! EVERYONE works as a team and are nice to one another and they were all very helpful even Renee and Kim. I WILL BE BACK TO GET AN EXAM FOR MYSELF VERY SOON! This place is definitely worth a visit and they accept Medicaid. Thank you all for making this experience easier than I could have ever imagined, words cannot describe how greatful I am.

The place has such a beautiful atmosphere. The optometry technicians were very professional and friendly. The doctor was kind. I would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend The Eye Bar Optics. It is truly a hidden gem. The male optometrist is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and one of the kindest professionals we have encountered. I took my six-year-old daughter in for a vision exam, and the entire experience was exceptional. The front desk clerk has such a beautiful personality...so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. My daughter found out she needed glasses and was a little worried at first, but the staff made her feel so comfortable and confident. She picked out the cutest pair of glasses, and she was so happy. I am truly excited for her and grateful that this experience turned into such a positive one. As a parent, I am always deeply thankful when I can take my child or any loved one to a place where the staff not only provides excellent care but also creates a comforting, respectful, and friendly environment. The Eye Bar Optics does just that. We left feeling well taken care of and truly valued.

They are very professional, and fast paced. Everything was done in a timely manner. My son and I went for a visit on 8/16/25, Staff was very friendly, made my child and I feel very welcomed, super comfortable. Got Our Glasses within a week. Would recommend. Thank you guys

I'd give 6 stars if I could. Dr. Mike and his crew were so helpful, welcoming, and attentive. Following my exam with Dr. Mike, both team members pulled various frames for me to try, gave honest reviews of the look, and quickly had me ready to head out. Such a different experience from the stuff, corporate franchise locations! However, because everyone is so kind, I ended up sitting down to chat for about 15 minutes! My glasses and prescription sunglasses were ready before the anticipated pick-up date and done to perfection! I'm excited to visit their new space and could not recommend The Eye Bar enough!

I am very happy to share this review. Very familiar with the location but didn't even know this place existed but so so glad it does. I had been going to America's Best for my glasses but my vision insurance recently changed. On Jan. 23rd, 2025 I was really suffering with severe pain and sensitivity in my right eye. I looked at insurance providers and saw this business convenient to my home and decided to give them a call. A young lady by the name of Diamond answered the phone - she was pleasant and very helpful. She told me that I could come in that day for an appointment - I was so relieved. They have a private parking lot shared with other a few other businesses. The business is small but equipped. I walk in and am greeted by Diamond and the owner Ms. Kim. Because I filled out the paperwork via text message, I didn't have to fill out any additional paperwork so I recommend doing that before coming for your visit. I saw Dr. Mike who was EXCELLENT. He is super friendly and really takes the time to find out what is going on with your eye(s). After a thorough examination, he told me that my eye had a scratch on it and that's what was causing all the symptoms I was having. He prescribed medication for me. I was so glad they were able to see me that day to get some relief for my eye and to calm my worries. Since then, I have been back 3 times - Dr. Mike had me follow up to see how my eye was doing. I was given an eye exam and was able to pick a frame for glasses to be ordered. I brought hubby with me so he could get his eyes examined too and get glasses. Ms. Kim was very helpful in finding the glasses that looked the best on both of us. When our glasses were ready, I came to pick them up. Oddly, I was having irritation and heavy redness on the other eye, grrr... Dr. Mike to the rescue! He examined the eye and determined it was inflamed possibly from some allergy that developed. Medication was prescribed along with me picking up my glasses which I am very happy with. This is a black owned and women owned establishment which I am proud to support. It seems they do alot for the community as well. Pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Eye Bar Optics - see you real soon!

Our usual eye repair shop was closed so my boyfriend decided to take my lenses here to be put into my old frames. Apparently he was told the lenses did not fit into my old frames which I thought were identical to my current frames. The sales person suggested they find similar frames instead to "fix" the problem. My boyfriend was sold $60 frames for $175 and they still charged him $20 to "insert lenses". My old lenses. When I came home from work I tried on the new frames and my lenses, that had been clear and functional now had crazing on them that happens when the protective film has been exposed to extreme heat or chemicals. They sold him poor quality frames after they ruined my lenses. Do not take your glasses here for repairs the techs do not know what they are doing.
