Total Eye Care

Less collection of frames.. but reception lady is not helpful at all in checking the coverage properly. I went in the afternoon and she said she needs time like an hour to call insurance guys and validate. I came back and gave her a call after 2 hours and they neither checked or speaking like they don't know me. She again took all my info and said she will check before EOD and never returned. I understand they don't need business and too much careless people...

Don't go to this place - ESPECIALLY DON'T SEE DR. HEEYOON KIM!!! She's the worst eye doctor I've ever seen in my life. I went there for an annual exam and to get my vision prescription so i could get a new pair of glasses. The office felt like there's no air flow - especially in covid currently i don't know how that's allowed. And the lighting was very very dark, i couldn't even see things that clear with my contacts on, I don't understand how this could be an eye exam friendly environment. It's prone to accidents. First of all, when I was reviewing paper work to sign, this doctor came to me and really tried to rush me - "don't worry about that, let's get your vision checked first". I'm like excuse me?? I wanna make sure I understand what I would get charged before I sign, and she just wants me to skip paperwork and start the exam - what if I decide to not proceed because it's a scam like others said in the review? She didn't care. The front desk told me the $60 fee is covered in my insurance, so i was relieved and signed. then we proceed to the exam. Then, she goes, when was the last time you had your eye exam? I knew I got my old glasess last year but i wasn't sure if that whole process of getting the prescription is qualified as "annual exam", so i asked, what is the difference between getting your vision prescription vs. eye exam? she goes, "Here in America, you will have to get annual exam in order to get your vision prescription". "Here in America", so she's assuming I'm not from America without knowing any of my background, what a racist! Lastly and most importantly, this is why I have to write this review. After the vision exam, she told me my left eye vision is 850 while my right eye is 750, I'm hesistant to accept that because i just had my contacts prescription a month ago and i had both eyes 700. My vision had been pretty stable for the past 10 years, around 700. I raised my concern and explained my situation - I broke my glasses lately so I had to use my old glasses which wasn't very clear, maybe that's why my eyes are not feeling comfortable right now. She doesn't care. I then asked about the dim light in that room, very dark to the point I couldn't even see clearly with my contacts on. She also doesn't care about my question or concerns. Instead, she's rushing again - "ok I do have to move you to the next step now". So i had to take her prescription and get new glasses. Fast forward to today, I got my new glasses finally, wow I felt dizzy the first 1 minute I had those glasses on, when I walked out of the glass store with the glasses on, I saw the door frames are tilted....she just wasted my $$$ several hundred dollars. Please, do yourself a favor and do not go to this office, especially not see this eye doctor Heeyoon Kim ever!!

Personable, friendly staff. Eye exams, new glasses, or answering my questions they have me covered.
