Horrible customer service, I don't think this place is health conditions just look at the dirty walls and the place is totally falling apart. The Adress is incorrect leads you to an ally way. There is no parking what so ever available. There are holes in the walls and the cotton insulation can be seen poking out of the roof. Is that even sanitary? Got wires sticking out of everywhere too.
Horrible place of Business!! Very unprofessional.
I was attacked by two Hispanic females who were staff here after being 1 week out of a serious abdomen surgery and had a scheduled vision appointment. I could have stayed in bed . Horrible experience!! I wouldn't suggest any one of color come here for service . This place sucks !!!!
If I could give a zero I would. Worst customer experience ever! Came to do a repair on my child's glasses which frame broke the "repair" person replaced them to a different frame and I do not know if he chipped them or burned them with the heat gun when replacing was done. I simply asked and he goes on to say that it is not his fault! Excuse me! When I brought in the lenses they were totally fine. He still has the audacity to say I do not know what you want me to say! Told the dam guy he could at least apologize for it. Taking my service to Americas Best next time. Be aware people they do not care for their customers they care for the money!
Horrible service, i had an appointment at 10:30am, one of the workers forgot to highlight on the paper so that they knew i had an appt. I was being taken as a walk in until i asked why was it taking so long. The one that receives you had a shitty attitude and face when i walked in. If they dont like what they do they should get a different job. The community keeps them in service and with a job they need the community not the other way around. They need to take accountability.
They are A professional and rude. They rush you and rush the process just so they can get the money. My prescription for my glasses is too strong for glasses and too weak for my contacts. I've told them this several times and I've went back within the same year and two consecutive months for them to check and they told me they were fine and I told them I know my eyesight doesn't feel right nor does it look right. OK, they refuse to fix the prescription. I didn't ask for my money back. I asked them to fix a prescription and they refuse now I can barely see I have to work and drive and this is just a horrible experience. I really hate the company and their business. They need to be shut down because you shouldn't play with a persons eyes that is a very serious body part that a person needs. I will be getting my Lawyer involved !
I went to take an eye exam and get glasses, all went well. I paid half down and was to play in full upon pick up. They called me like two days later to pick up my glasses, I have a seat girl hand me my glasses up close to my face for me to put on. She makes sure measurements are ok, I look in mirror and see that glasses sit okay on my nose. She removes glasses from my face, puts them in the case and askes for the balance. I ask her if I can see the glasses again, she gets an attitude and asks if anything is wrong. I said, can I see my glasses again please. She hands then to me and I see that the frame is discolored, areas on front of frame is not the same as the sides. She states she don't see a difference and takes them to her boss. She wipes them down and brings them back, no difference. I tell her the frames were not like that when I choose them and that I have a right to get what we agreed on. She went back to the man in the back of store and came back and said, we will send them back to the lab. A week later, no call so I call them and once I told the young lady my name her tone changed to snappish responses. She told me they were ready and I can pick them up any time, this was a Saturday, I told her I will be in on Monday. I go in on Monday, and the girl hands me the glasses to try on facing me again. I try them on she trys to remove them but I move back and remove them myself and look at the frame and notice the frames had not been repaired. I asked her if I can speak with her boss(that is what she calls him) because I don't have time coming back and forth to get glasses that are not ready when I was told they were. She takes my frames to him and she comes back and says, we will replace the frames at no cost to you. I asked, why would there be a cost to me? When I chose the frames and gave them to you all there was nothing wrong with them. She gave me this frustrated look and I left. I was called a week later. I paid and picked up my glasses, I didn't notice that I wasn't given back my receipt on my last visit, so I asked for a print out, see attached. The receipt has adjustment, when I called back to ask why the adjustments were not subtracted from the costs, the girl that was explaining my charges hung up on me and they wouldn't answer my calls. I call Davis Vision and was informed Tropical Optical has an in-house lab, and Davis tried to inquire about my issues and she told me she was hung up on too. I asked what can I do? Rep. said I need to contact my insurance. I also asked if I could get a copy of what Tropical Optical charged them. She said it was not policy. My eye exam is suppose to be free, I am suppose to be responsible for $100 for my frames according to Davis Vision.

The young lady Joanna assisted me was very impatient once you say you're not getting glasses at the time she is done with you. I still had questions instead of asking me is their anything else she can help me with or ask if I had any more questions. She told me she can't help me any longer she already is assisting someone else, when I'm still sitting in the chair how are you assisting someone else?! I think she was rude very impatient & then found out she was the manager when I asked is there a manager on site . I have been a patient for over 20 years and this location was my first. I've been coming here frequently recently due to other location no appts available and every time the girls who work here are rude and very short. She acted as if I was bothering her with questions. I don't know if it's because I'm black and this is a predominantly Hispanic area or what! I see why they have a rating of 1.9!! I went to Joanna very nice tried to explain to her about my bad experience she cut me off and repeatedly said "I'm sorry you feel that way" VERY UNPROFESSIONAL VERY RUDE! I even explained to her you guys have bad reviews thr past 2 weeks she just nodded her head ok! I'll never go back to that location again!! I even told her I've been coming here over 20 years she could care less! She does not deserve to be in management! If I could rate zero I would!
Worst experience ever there. I've never had such bad experiences enough to make me want to write a review. The ladies there all seem like they hate their job , no patience , no smiles . I walked out , not to mention it's been falling apart for a couple of years now with no signs of fixing it. . Shame on the team there and the Dr. The receptionist at the moment was the only one who cracked a smile . I came to the Little village location bc i put in a complain for the Cicero location . This franchise can't seem to get it right . The video I recorded wasn't able to get uploaded.
