Univ of Chicago Eye Center

The eye doctor Sawliha Seedat is very RUDE and unprofessional. Has a whole attitude for no reason and even rolls her eyes very ignorantly. Very uncomfortable experience and will not be returning.

Never even told me about the stitches that were going into my eye which did not come out! The job looks terrible! when I came back for my consultation the doctor was in OR for over an hour and still hasn't reached out to reschedule me!

Very unprofessional. I was the second person in line. I was looking to make a appointment. I'm a new patient by the way. The lady at the desk before the last, was rude and made me stand in line behind all the people who were checking out. Mind you I was there before they approached. I waited in line a second time. The man at the first desk and the same rude lady, were free of clients and still took their time. Once I reached the man, he then gave me a phone number instead of making the appointment. Yeah I will be going elsewhere, and also asking for my son's medical records to be sent elsewhere. I refuse to be mistreated. They got the two for one deal. Lose and established patient and a new one. If they keep this up, they won't have any clients.

I have had excellent experiences when visiting the University of Chicago Eye Center. Everyone was very professional, polite and provided helpful information when I had questions. My confidence in this eye Center was so great that I had both (right eye/left eye) cataract surgeries there back to back, i.e. one in December and the second in January. The results of the surgeries is amazing . My vision is greatly improved. I've worn glasses the entire life all day and now I only require them minimally for reading . I recommend this Eye Center all the time!!!

Terrible!! I have been being rescheduled for MONTHS for chalazion removal. It's ridiculous how I'm continuously being told that the surgery has to be rescheduled due to an "emergency " I'm very disappointed.

Avoid this place. Extremely incompetent in terms of managing appointments. I have been here 3 times and have to wait at least 1 hour at a minimum to be seen by Dr Farouk. I gave it a pass first two around as benefits of the doubts. But third time waiting for it is absolutely ridiculous. I have been part of the medicinal research and required to use this place. Avoid this place as you can get much better time value.

Rude don't go here. They are more concerned about going home instead of helping patients.
