Vista Eye Center

I was a walk in. I had other business and ran across them. I was happy because I found someone that took my insurance. I had my eyes checked and dilated as well. I picked my frame and put the order in to get the glasses. I was also told I had 60 days to get everything settled. Today I call to make the payment to get them started and was told they didn't keep my order! I don't understand how they took all my info gave me paperwork and now they want me to go back up there and redo everything! This is bad business. Why would I go back there to try to do business again?! With everything that happened today I have no faith that things will be properly handled. They could've called and left a message or sent a letter to make me aware of what was going on.

Great experience! We walked in as new customers and were seen within 15 mins. My brothers glasses were broken and they put in a rush order to his new pair within a few days. They also took his current lens out and put them in a loaner frame so he had something. Everywhere else we called they said he'd just have to wait for the new pair no one offered us a loaner pair. That came in clutch bc we had a family event to go to the next day. Staff were extremely professional and friendly. We'll definitely be going back.

Just came good customer service they are trying to fix my glasses

Just had my annual eye exam at Vista Eye Center in Little Village, and it was a pretty smooth experience. Dropped around $180 total--$80 for the exam and about $100 for a pair of sleek Ray-Ban frames. The staff was super friendly and bilingual, which made communication easy. The doc took time to explain everything, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the waiting area was a bit cramped, and I had to wait about 20 minutes past my appointment time. But overall, if you're looking for quality eye care without breaking the bank, this spot's a solid choice.

Best eye doctor in the area! They have good prices and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommended!

I recently went to Vista Eye Center on 26th Street, and let me tell you, it was a disaster. I spent $250 on an eye exam and a pair of glasses, but the whole experience was a mess. First off, the staff was unprofessional and disorganized. They made me wait for over an hour past my appointment time without any explanation. When I finally got in, the doctor seemed rushed and didn't take the time to explain my prescription or options. To top it off, the glasses I got were uncomfortable and didn't fit right. I tried calling to get them adjusted, but no one ever picks up the phone.

Set up an appointment for my 50 yr old dad who has never had glasses. Was not able to join him due to an emergency. They confused him to no end. They started the exam, and then after that finally told him that his insurance wouldn't cover it, only 30%. Felt inclined to stay. When my parents asked them for a prescription and that they wouldn't be buying glasses in stores, they again confused them. Told them they didn't do that there and that my dad needed too many things. He ended up spending $500 for eyeglasses. After he spent the money, they gave him his prescription, where I was able to order glasses off EyeBuyDirect, for 57.82 delivered to his house. Seriously, if you care about you're family, don't send them here alone. Absolute money hungry individuals and will take advantage of anyone they can.

Went to Vista Eye Center to just get a check up for my eyes. One of the biggest positives is they accept County Care. With County Care my eye exam was free and they will take $100 off the purchase of certain frames. My appointment was at 11:30am and I was in and out pretty quickly. All the staff I interacted with were nice and friendly. After I got called to see the doctor it went by very quickly. He checked my eyes and looked at my current glasses. That's it I was done, I was able to get a copy my prescription and will definitely visit again. I do know that there aren't always doctors on site so you might have to wait a week or two until you get to see a doctor. That wasn't a big deal for me because I was not in a hurry. Check them out if you live in the area and need to see an eye doctor.
