Through all the moving I have done over the last 13 years and I still continue to see my doctor here. I always feel I am in good hands with the staff. The office has done a great job at taking precautions during this "flu season" so you can still continue to get your medical needs attended to and feel very safe. Their optical shop has an amazing selection to choose from and they do what they can to track down your ideal pair. I fully understand that good healthcare can take longer than expected, but if you are a newer patient, prepare yourself for some wait times, but I think the quality of service this facility delivers is always worth the wait. The whole place is very clean and caring staff.

Dr. Macek at Downers Grove Eye Center has provide my eye care for over twenty years. I have always been seen in a timely manner. The office staff has always been helpful on the phone and in person. Today's visit began with his assistant, Becca, who was pleasant, thorough, efficient and helpful. Dr. Macek's eye exams are meticulously thorough, efficient, his manner is pleasant, he keeps excellent records and he reviews past visits to compare them to my current eye health and any vision changes over time. Alex checked me out after the visit and was knowledgable about answer to questions I had with regard to insurance coverage. DG Eye Center is my go to place for my eye care.

The front desk people were very short and seemed bothered that I was there.
If you can see past that the rest of my visit was great. Dr. Macek and staff were amazing. Everything was explained in great detail. Linda who helped me with picking out glasses was so pleasant. Explained all my benefits and made the process painless. Highly recommend. I gave 5 stars because my overall visit was amazing but front end staff need to work on their attitude except for Jamie she was very pleasant and helpful.
