Dr. Robbs was absolutely amazing, and his staff was just as wonderful. The environment was very friendly, the office was extremely clean, and everything was so well run. He addressed all of my needs and never made me feel rushed. I had a great experience and would definitely come back!

Being able to see is always nice and is I get older my sight is definitely trying to play games with me. Recently visited Dr. Robb's from a family member referral and now my entire family has visited as well! We are so smitten with the ease of making appointments, technology is on point (I'm always down for NOT having my eyes dilated), all staff interactions have been tolerable...so these are all wins in my book! Dr. Robbs is very personable and breaks down information in a very accessible way for all ages. I can tell he's very passionate about eyes and it might make me excited enough to wear my glasses more often than not. The practice has a nice selection of eyewear and contacts. Parking is pretty easy! We'll definitely be back and recommend to folks in the area.

My 5 year old twins and I recently had appointments here and were very impressed. Dr Robb is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner--patient, approachable, and genuinely caring. The exams were extremely thorough, and we appreciated how clearly everything was explained to us along the way. It felt more like a conversation than just an exam, and I left feeling well-informed about our eye health. The staff was welcoming, the office ran smoothly, and overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a knowledgeable and attentive eye doctor.

Dr. Shpountova is an outstanding O.D. She is thorough and takes time to give her patients the necessary examination and answers all questions. The remainder of the staff are very professional and make you feel like you are one of the family.

I've been seeing Dr. Kampschroeder for many, many years. He's the best! He was able to help my mom's crazy eyesight, which only 1 other Dr. could ever do when she lived in another state. Everyone in the office is helpful, friendly and professional. Dr. Kampschroeder gave me the BEST recommendation for cataract surgery. No complaints here, except that he is going to retire!

My experience with this clinic was disappointing. I initially noticed blurry vision and a faint line in the peripheral area of my left eye. After a quick Google search, I suspected a retinal tear and promptly scheduled an evaluation. The clinic informed me that my retina was fine but diagnosed mild uveitis and prescribed steroid eye drops. Unfortunately, after starting the drops, my symptoms worsened. The line shifted from my peripheral to central vision, causing blurry and distorted central vision, along with dull color perception. Concerned, I visited their Naperville office the next day. Once again, I was told nothing was wrong. Trusting their assessment, I continued using the steroid drops, hoping for improvement--but my condition did not improve. I returned for another visit after about a month because my vision did not improve, and again they were prepared to dismiss my concerns. This time, I firmly insisted something was wrong and urged them to investigate further. Dr. Halkias finally performed an OCT scan and diagnosed me with Central Serous Retinopathy (CSR). Here are my concerns: 1. Why wasn't an OCT scan performed during my initial visit to the Downers Grove office or the follow-up at the Naperville location, especially when I described symptoms consistent with CSR and suspected a retinal tear? 2. The prescribed steroids worsened my condition. Initially, the CSR affected only my peripheral vision, but the steroids caused it to spread to my central vision. As a result, I lost some retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), and my vision may never fully recover. On a positive note, the staff and doctors are kind and courteous. However, based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic for serious or complex eye issues due to the delayed diagnosis and treatment complications.
