All About Eyes - Edwardsville

Dr. Jennifer Karr and the staff member who helped me after the exam (I didn't catch her name) were absolutely wonderful--honestly, the entire team was! Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. Dr. Karr took the time to explain everything clearly, making the whole experience comfortable and completely stress-free. I felt truly cared for and confident in her expertise from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch eye doctor!

Great staff, volumes of frames to select from. There's something for every style, designer frames and unique frames. The doctors are always personable and are extremely knowledgeable. I always leave feeling confident in All About Eyes and my vision.

I've been going to All About Eyes in Edwardsville, IL for the past 10 years or so and I love them! The doctor is nice and informative. She answers all my questions I may have. The staff very helpful and polite. I get a new pair of glasses every other year because I like getting them. It is a bit stressful for me but they make it a very stress free experience. My son goes there and now my dad goes to them as well. Love them!!! Thanks All About Eyes!!!

Entire staff were helpful and friendly. The Doctor was very patient and went very slow with my daughter to ensure a great exam. Will be going to there office in Edwardsville from now on.

My son ordered glasses 6 weeks ago. He never received them. No calls, no updates. He would call the store and get voice mail. I went into the store to inquire. Was told the frames were on back order, or maybe they were discontinued. They couldn't give me an estimate on how much longer it would be and needed to speak with the lab. I was promised a return phone call the next day with an update. Never received a call. That was 2 weeks ago. They appear to have no system in place whatsoever for tracking order fulfillment.

AJ took great care of me when I came in. I had been needing to get an updated prescription for my glasses for a couple years now. She made it easy getting in, getting the exam, and then helping me pick out some frames that would best fit me. I'm not a big fan of getting the little puff of air to the eyes but she helped calm my anxiety when dealing with that part of the exam. Highly recommend.

They were able to get me in quickly when my previous eye doctor offered an appointment 2 months from now. I was fitted for contacts and glasses as well as finished the eye exam within an hour. Nice job all!

Can't say enough good things so far about All About Eyes. I've had two visits in the past 6 days; the first for an emergency eye exam for what I thought was a foreign body in my eye. I called and spoke to Chris on the phone, who was able to fit me in within an hour of my call to get me taken care of immediately. As soon as I arrived, Sidney got me to a seat and ran through the paperwork with me, and within 10 minutes I was in a room with the doctor. As it turned out, it wasn't a foreign body in my eye, but one of my own eyelashes gone rogue, which had begun to curl under and grow into my literal eyeball. Ouch. Doctor numbed my eye and within a moment removed the offending velociraptor claw of an eyelash (which looks huge, but was less than a millimeter in size, I swear) from my eye, and was kind enough to let me take a photograph before we banished it. (I attached it to my review so you can all be as horrified as I was.) All in all, my first visit was incredibly quick, painless, kind, and professional and I could not have been more impressed. A short five days later, my friend accidentally stepped on and crushed my glasses, and again I called and spoke to Chris (who at this point, I'm pretty convinced is my guardian angel of the optical world) who for the second time managed to make me a short notice appointment for the same day. I went in and got expert care immediately from the lovely Sidney for the second time, who following a quick and simple exam from doctor, helped me pick out frames to try for the next half hour or so. (And, I was able to get some trial contacts to wear while I picked my frames--a new experience, being able to SEE the frames I'm picking!) She gave me expert opinions on fit and shape for each one I tried, and we eventually whittled down my options to four or five from their extensive selection of stylish/durable/affordable/attractive frames. A friend dropped by to help me make my final decision, and that was that! We ordered them with no fuss at all, and Sidney was not only able to give me a fantastic price to go along with my quick and painless process, but also put a rush on my glasses so that I can spend as little time wearing a 2-years out of date Rx until my new glasses arrive. I absolutely can't recommend All About Eyes enough. Transparent pricing, professional and compassionate staff who are empowered to go the extra mile for their patients (and do so), and a quality product, in an easily accessible local storefront.
