As a long-standing client of EVC -- I was extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience. I placed and paid for an order for replacement glasses, which was shipped to an incorrect address and subsequently lost due to negligence on the support staff teams end.. I attempted to contact EVC repeatedly and did not receive any response until I called approximately six times over a eight-week period. When I finally reached an associate, I was told the package had already been shipped and that there was "nothing they could do / out of their hands" despite the error and the fact that I never received the replacement glasses I paid for. The associate (Chelsea) was unprofessional and rude during the call and contradicted prior statements she had made to me regarding insurance policy and coverage. Due to the lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct, I will not be returning as a client & recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I had a very mixed experience. I am pleased with my eye exam and contacts, but very unhappy with my glasses fitting. They didn't provide a proper fitting -- no checking the fit behind my ears, etc. The glasses were initially too big, and the employee then used a machine to adjust them. After leaving, I realized they were too small so I went back for another adjustment. The employee used her hands to pull the ear pieces out to make the glasses bigger. I explained the problem was with the bend of the earpiece from when she initially realized them. She then told me there was nothing else she could do and I left with glasses that were so big they wouldn't stay on my face. I ended up taking my glasses elsewhere and the other business fixed them for me. I received a proper fitting at the other place and won't be returning to Edwardsville Vision Center.

The staff is wonderful. Always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I've been a patient for a handful of years or so and one of my daughters is a new patient as well.

My husband went to get his eye exam yesterday and they build it through his medical insurance instead of through his Vision insurance when I called today to take care of it. Chelsea was extremely rude and absolutely no help. There was a visiting doctor and I guess that's who I have to speak to. She wouldn't take a message. She didn't give me a number to contact that doctor so that this can be corrected and she talked to me like I was stupid. My family of four has been going there for decades and I'm going to go pick up my records personally tomorrow I strongly recommend you stay clear.

The ladies here are always friendly and helpful. Whitney is the best, she helped me decide what glasses looked best on me and they arrived super fast!

Everyone was friendly, professional, and efficient. Dr. Barber was thorough and explained everything well. She also made sure all my questions were answered before I left. Great place!

I loved Dr. Barber. She was extremely thorough with my exam and took the time to explain things to me and tell me what to look for with changes in my eyes. I paid the extra $39 for the test that showed more of the inside of my eyes and it was well worth the money. She was able to see more of my eyes and showed me the pictures while explaining what she saw. I felt very satisfied with my exam and received more information from her than I've ever gotten from an eye professional, and I've had glasses or contacts for over 50 years. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a complete and thorough eye exam.
