Clarkson Eyecare

I won't be returning to this location. The provider I saw was absolutely wonderful and worked great with my children, but the optical staff left a lot to be desired. Despite providing my insurance information ahead of time, they didn't have it ready when we arrived. I even had to explain my own VSP benefits to them, which was surprising given how common that insurance is. My partner has double VSP coverage, and it became clear after our bill was prepared that the staff didn't know how to handle dual coverage properly. To make things worse, one of the opticians was unnecessarily rude and condescending when my partner had to come back multiple times due to lens issues. Wish we got her name, but it's the lady with blonde hair on the shorter side, kind of short and stubby herself that doesn't wear makeup - totally rude lady. Lastly, after having our glasses for a while, we've noticed that the lenses seem to be poor quality, even with the added upgrades we paid for. Overall, disappointing experience on the optical side, which is unfortunate given how great the provider was.

Excellent eyecare. Appointment time was punctual. Staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Dana Rozell was excellent.

My experience here was not good. I came into the location with another customer in front of me. I sat and waited. No one acknowledged me even after she the lady before me was taken care of and we came in together. The receptionists saw and even made eye contact with me and still no one acknowledged me. I assumed they were all busy and going to get to me when they could. Another woman walks in about 5-10 minutes later and one of the receptionists immediately start assisting her. I saw more people preparing to walk in so I stood up to hopefully be seen next. A staff member who was helping someone else came over and asked one of the receptionist to assist me (great customer service). The receptionist had an obvious look of annoyance on her face toward him, then she directed the look towards me, carrying it into her customer service. This created a bad experience before our interaction even started. Her disposition towards me was rude and dismissive. I had questions about a contact lens perspection and her way of saying that she needed a little more information to better help me was "I don't understand what you mean." She looked even more annoyed and even offended. She was a poor representation of the business (and the other lady at the desk with her did not represent well either in not assisting me but assisting the woman that came after me). I kindly told her, " I'll actually look around for services elsewhere, you've had an annoyed look on your face, but thank you." I then left. I will not be back.

I loved my experience at Clarkson. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I loved Dr. Rozell. She was very friendly, helpful, and I appreciated how she gave her advice/opinion with particular things.

Dr. Rozell is awesome - she explains everything in detail! Her staff is awesome too!

They are the worst at giving you any appointment ! And they treat you depending on your insurance ! It's so ridiculous they keep u on the phone for over half an hour and at the end they hang up on you !

I LOVE this place! First of all, the ladies that work out front are phenomenal. I missed my appointment, and they were so easy to work with to get rescheduled. They were also very patient with me while I picked out frames. Doctor Rozell is amazing! So caring and will take the time to answer all your questions.

I had a really positive experience at Clarkson Eyecare for my recent appointment. The staff were friendly, and it seemed like they were using up-to-date diagnostic tools. The doctor was prompt and professional, and I really appreciated that they respected my appointment time. Overall, a smooth and efficient visit.
