As a new patient, I had a pleasant experience all around. My appointment was with Dr. Pica and I felt like I received excellent care. I specifically sought out Dr. Pica after reading her bio, her credentials speak for itself as I believe it really sets her apart and it carries over in her work and professionalism. She was attentive and communicated clearly. Her thorough examination and explanations of my condition really instilled confidence and trust. I appreciated her approach to my health, focusing on preventive measures. It left me feeling reassured I was in good hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Pica to anyone.

Great experience with Dr. Saima Jalal! She performed my mom's cataract surgery on both eyes. Great professionalism, bedside manner, and follow up.

We had been using places like Costco, Sam's Club, and America's Best for quick eye exams for our kids, but after years of rushed visits and frustration -- especially around contact lenses -- I sought out a provider with more experience working with children. We found Fox Valley Ophthalmology and Eyes, and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Pica immediately caught a significant diagnosis that had been missed for years, despite my child having annual exams. She helped us understand what had been overlooked and created a plan going forward. We also wanted to try contacts, but other places told us my child was too young or handed us a short video and gave up when he couldn't get them in. At Fox Valley, the difference was night and day. Sandy, a kind and patient staff member, spent a full hour working with him, encouraging him and giving him practice exercises. At our follow-up, we were scheduled with Sandy again, and she was just as supportive, patient, and encouraging as the first time. She made all the difference for my son. Fox Valley might not have the rock-bottom prices of a Sam's Club, but the expertise, patience, and compassion they showed made every visit worth it. Highly recommend -- especially for families with kids.

Been here for an hour and 45 minutes and still haven't seen the doctor. Apparently my time has No value but I guarantee you they wouldn't hold my spot for me if I was late. Such elitists.

RUDE BEYOND BELIEF!!! If I could have given no stars, I would have. My mother's eye doctor recommended this office. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude!!! She asked for my mother's insurance. I told her the name of the insurance company, but that I didn't have her insurance card with me. She said that she would not make her an appointment without all of her insurance information. She said "we have to make sure we are going to be reimbursed". Seems they are more concerned with making money, than helping people. I asked if I could at least secure an appointment and I would call back with the needed information. She said "no, that's our office policy". I said "really? I can't even make an appointment?" As I was speaking she began to speak over me and said "if you don't like it go somewhere else". In all my years I have NEVER been treated in such a rude manner by staff at a physicians office. I am a RN, and I will be sure to let everyone know how unprofessional this office is, and to to take their business elsewhere.

The staff was wonderful from the time I entered the office until my exit. Dr. Maria Pica wasjust fantastic. She made sure I understood what was going with my eyes and she was very detailed. Dr.Pica was very professional, pleasant and helpful. Veronica thank you very much for your help. Veronica made it very easy in choosing the right frames. Veronica showed patience, kindness and she knew what she was doing. Veronica was very detailed in providing the information in getting the right fit for my eyeglasses. I would like to thank the team in all their efforts in providing the best service for me.

Terrible first time patient experience. Do not recommend

For a first time experience it was wonderful! Each person I encountered was very helpful and pleasant. From reception to Cora the tech, and Dr Harvey, the overall experience was stress- free and professional. I was confident with the thorough exam and the diagnosis which took much less time than expected. Besides being very personable, everyone had a sense of humor! I will recommend anyone who's looking for good eye care to call Fox Valley! Thank-you!
