This place sucks. My family and I have been going here for years, but I went last August to get a new pair of glasses. Immediately, the glasses get extremely dirty no matter how much I cleaned them. When I called, they just told me to put them in a soap/water solution. Well, it still gets extremely dirty. This is an issue because my previous pair from them didn't do this
I go in person a few weeks later, and they just tell me the glasses are dirty, and there's nothing they can do. $500 for glasses that have new issues my previous ones DID NOT have, and they refuse to do anything.
Fast forward to the past few weeks, I get blinded on the road from other car lights, and they admit it may be due to the glasses. However, they told me I should have done something "within the first 30 days". I came in during that time, and they sent me away. They said that the 30 day period passed since August, there's also nothing they can do. Everyone I talk to tells me something different, and they say I "should have" done something, but when I did, they still refused me.
This place is a scam. $500 for glasses with issues they can't explain, refuse to fix, and then blame me, is utterly unacceptable. I should have charged back my credit card, but I decided to give them some grace. For anyone else, go to a place that respects you. I now have been in situations where I cannot see at night because of their glasses, and they refuse to do anything. My life is on the line whenever I drive, and now I need to go somewhere else to see what's going on. They also wanted me to pay for another exam to possibly see if my prescription magically changed in a few months. Scam
Staff was not helpful only 2 people had knowledge about insurance and payment methods. The dr herself was nice she was very patient and clear. There is one lady that was very snippy and had attitude thank goodness she is not at the front of the place cuz she is so rude to me yet she was very helpful to the white customers after me. Well what can I say it is located in elmhurst. So if you are minority please be mindful.
I had an excellent experience getting new eyeglasses here after being involved in an automobile accident. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The store itself is a good size--spacious, clean, and well-organized--with a wide selection of frames for both men and women. Whether you're looking for something stylish, modern, or classic, they have plenty of options to choose from at reasonable prices.
The eye doctor was thorough, patient, and professional throughout the entire exam. They took the time to explain each step of the process and ensured that my new prescription was perfectly accurate. The salesperson who assisted me afterward was equally professional and friendly, helping me find the right frames that fit both my style and comfort needs. I never felt rushed or pressured, which made the experience even better.
Another great aspect is the convenience--there's plenty of parking available right in front of the store, making it easy to get in and out quickly. The overall environment was welcoming and efficient from start to finish.
I highly recommend this optical store to anyone in need of new glasses, contacts, or an updated prescription. Their professionalism, selection, and customer care truly stand out.
Had great experience two times with dr. Rana. She is so through with explaining and understanding client's needs.
Went to pick up my glasses . I was giving a card for me to read the instructions on how should glasses fit . The attendant did absolutely nothing she just asked if they fit okay or not. I asked a question. The answer was " well they are progressive ' . Was not my first progressive pair of glasses. Even if they did ., she could probably guide people better , instructions , differences. and proven questions . Lazy staff member did not feel like doing her job . She just gave me a card for me to read . Still do not see the difference from my old pair to the new pair . I will give it a week or so . Not happy with the staff members. Dr. Was fantastic no complaints.
Jennifer was absolutely such great help! Made the process very easy and was so sweet to my twins girls!

Came today to get an eye exam for contacts and eyeglasses (I haven't had an eye exam in over 10 years) and they were all extremely kind and helpful! Faith was wonderful, she spoke with me on the phone beforehand, and did some of my prelimary eye exams, Dr. Rana was very thorough, and answered all of my questions! (Particularly about the fog/haze I was noticing under my eye) Jennifer was very patient with me, and helped me pick out 2 excellent frames. I can't believe I put off going for an eye exam for so long, knowing how wonderful the staff at America's Best is! A++!!
