Krishan Nagpal, MD

I have been Dr. Nagpal's patient for many years, and he always has had an outstanding reputation in town. I am very grateful to him because I came in with an extremely complex ophthalmic history that required extra care, and he was up for the challenge! He has a very laid-back demeanor, and he is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. He appreciates educated patients and answers all questions without ever making you feel rushed. In addition, Dr. Nagpal has gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping me navigate insurance approvals. He has the persistence required along with a steadfast commitment to his patients who he has formed solid relationships with over the years. Dr. Nagpal is a wonderful, traditional physician who is a rare-find in our modern health care system (that unfortunately is losing its focus on patient care).

Dr. Nagpal is a very gentle caring doctor. I had gotten Shingles in my left eye in Dec. 2021 and had seen 2 other ophthalmologists for that condition. None of the other two gave me oral medicine for the virus but he did! After using the oral medicine he states that my eye is looking healthy. I asked him why, he knew to give me the oral medicine and others didn't and his humble response was that he had more experience in Shingles of the eye.

Got referred here by another doctor, and I had one of the worst experiences ever. Right off the bat, they have the rudest receptionist. Spoke on the phone with her initially and she was very snappy and condescending. We didn't understand something, but instead of HELPING us and explaining it like what a receptionist should do, she was just simply repeating "No, we don't do that" over and over in a snappy tone. We wouldn't have come here at all if the doctor wasn't on the referral. We got to the office and, again, rude in real life too. She was on the phone with a patient and afterwards I heard her complain out loud about the patient saying, "she's telling me her life story, and I got a line of people here." I mean, I get it, some people will talk a lot, but seriously? How rude and unprofessional to be announcing that for the whole office to hear! The doctor himself is okay. But he seems to have issues with money and definitely values payment over patient's care. He explained things well, but I couldn't help but notice how he was going back and fourth in between 2 rooms when we were being seen. Apparently, he was seeing two patients at once and there are no helpers whatsoever. He just left the room at the most random times, and it felt like no proper attention was given to the patients. Not to mention his mobile phone rang, and he picked up walked out IN THE MIDDLE of the exam. Could hear him speak and it definitely was a personal call. Now, I don't mind if you want to pick up your phone. I get it, family matters, but it was just odd that he couldn't even say "excuse me" before leaving? Don't even get me started on the array of random eye drops sitting on the table all over the place. No organization whatsoever. It looks like a college student desk. Or the constant imessage notification dinging loudly in his pockets throughout our exam--It was driving me nuts. He also forgot to prescribe us the eye drops. Overall, this place is a mess. Rude and difficult people, super unwelcoming, especially the receptionist. Understaffed, and the doctor cares more about money than having an efficiently-run office or treating patients well. Seriously, I can't stress this enough, DO NOT come here. Just the receptionist alone ruined the experience for us already, but just go somewhere else altogether.

Dr. Nagpal is an amazing doctor. He has helped me with multiple eye injuries with great results and diagnosis. When I was suffering from a recent foreign object lodged in my retina, Dr. Nagpal was very dedicated and met me after he already left the office for the night. He took care of my emergency. I won't go to anyone else other than Dr.Nagpal, he has my full trust.

My family doctor referred him. I would never visit this doctor again. He does not explain all the paid tests before doing them. When I was about to leave, he told me that I need to pay $50 for refraction test. They are cheating their patients. I will never go there again and will make sure none of my friends or family get into their trap. The documents that they gave does not even explain all the results. My names was also written wrong on the documentation. ***Eye drops samples they gave me are already expired***

Best eye doctore ever seen. Very experienced and knowledgible. Most of all he cares about patient
