I was referred to them because of a spot on the back of my eye. Thankfully, It was nothing. After my appointment I received a $400 bill because the are out of network. Either the referring doctor or the the Retina Institute should have mentioned they were out of network.

I highly recommend this practice. Dr Honasage is a very knowledgeable dr. He has provided excellent care for my husband's diabetic eye retinopathy. He has recovered excellent vision in one eye. Can't wait to see what happens with the other eye. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Jasmine is a great clinician with a great "bedside manner", taking the time to care for her patients and answering any questions they have. Dr. Blinder gave a very thorough evaluation, and he eased my concerns about my eye issues. The entire staff handled their patients efficiently and with great expertise. I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr Iafe and the staff at the Retina Institute. I developed a rather large hole in the macula which led to surgery by Dr. Iafe to repair the hole. All of my questions were addressed , and after surgery and 7 days of face down recovery, the hole closed! At my 8 week checkup, my vision was 20/20!! I can't thank Dr. Iafe enough for his amazing work. The whole process, was virtually painless. The face down recovery was difficult, but necessary to follow for the best results. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Dr. Iafe and the Retina Institute.

Dr. K went above and beyond in getting my mother examined and treated. The staff was also great and stepped up to help Dr. K lift me mom from her wheel chair into the exam chair. I'm sorry we will be going to a different Retina Institute location for our second appointment although I'm sure that location will be just as wonderful.
