Dr. Todd is friendly, patient, and explains everything if you have questions. His staff is awesome, too. Lydia makes the pre-exam actually fun. Katrina always goes above and beyond, and she even remembered me from last year. Shawn was really patient walking me through the numbers so I could figure out what to get. Everyone jumps in to help you pick out frames and give honest feedback if you want opinions. Overall, this was the best experience I've ever had at an eye exam.
I gave 4 stars only because their lab has issues. I had a lense made 3 times with the same defect, so I ended up returning the glasses.

They told me my insurance was in network when it wasn't. Then when I received a bill in the mail after I had already paid there. I went in to pay again what insurance didn't cover and you can't pay there unless you bring the bill. How does that make sense? They can't help at all. Just said yeah sorry for the inconvenience. Terrible service. I'll never go back again.

My recent experience was truly exceptional! Dr. Wollbrinck is incredibly knowledgeable and engaged, making even complex concepts easy to understand. He takes the time with each patient to ensure they are comfortable with any new information, and leave happy . I have been a patient for several years but had not been in since several new changes were made. Everything was pleasant and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I worked with Steve, and met several other staff, and they all allowed for personalized attention to ensure I received everything I needed. I highly recommend the Glen Carbon Wal-Mart Vision Center to anyone looking for exceptional care and an all around great experience.
