Dr Iyengar and her staff were exceptional! She went above and beyond to help me when I experienced an eye injury. She was very understanding and put me at ease while delivery amazing medical care. Would highly recommend!

It's not the facility, It's Dr. Larissa Ghadiali! She performed a simple eye lift procedure stating she couldn't lift them all the way due to Dry Eye Syndrome! Well after $$$of testing and unnecessary trips she operated only with no lift at all! In fact, they are worse because my eyelids are paralyzed in the half staff position! She made me bring in old pics to verify the validity of the drooping!
Another trip! Then with her sweet lying demeanor she thought of every excuse in the book so as not to help further! All she could think of was to tell me to find someone else!
I have medicine for Dry Eye which is called Cevimeline which was proscribed by my rheumatologist!
She hadn't even heard of the med! Told me to bring the bottle in! My goodness, she is an ophthalmologist for heavens sake! So out I go without her consulting with others in her profession or helping to at least lead me in the right direction!
Two paralyzed eyes and so what? Out I go!

Very impressive practice. The front desk staff were professional and courteous. The wait time was minimal. The nursing staff performing the previsit testing were friendly and efficient. Lastly, I can't say enough about Dr. Blatt. He had a great bedside manner and I really enjoyed speaking with him. All in all, I was extremely pleased with the practice and wholeheartedly recommended it.

Doctor and staff are great. Equipment is not clean. Left my appointment with the smell of someone's cologne all over my face. Equipment is supposed to be wiped down before each appointment in the presence of each patient - including the little plastic thing you hold up to your face. This was not done. ALL equipment is supposed to be wiped clean for each patient.

I am very happy with the service I've received at Hinsdale Eye Center. My doctor recommended Dr Ghadiali to me. Dr Ghadiali and the staff at Hinsdale Eye Center are excellent. They are professional, knowledgeable, thorough and friendly. Personally, I can't stand eye drops. I dread having drops forced into my eyes. Yes, I said forced because that is the only way drops are going in my eyes. Even though I know that is going to happen every time I walk in the door I still look forward to going. I feel like I'm visiting friends. When recommending Dr Ghadiali and the Hinsdale Eye Center, my doctor said "they really are very good" and she was right. The friendly part is just a bonus.
