I walked in to Eye Mechanix in LaGrange after my glasses split at the nose bridge and I wanted to recover the lenses into a different frame that I had. Amy and Rain helped me so much and completely changed how life was going that day! Not only did they make the lens swap for me, they also adjusted the back up pair of glasses on my face to make them more comfortable. I went from devastated about my broken glasses to all fixed up within 30 mo. When I went to pay for the service, they kindly told me happy to help me at no charge which was very unexpected! I will definitely bring business back to this place!! Frame selection looked great for next time!

Had a WONDERFUL first-time experience here and will definitely be coming back! Dr. Ricketts and his staff were very helpful and prompt, made an appointment at 2pm and walked out of there before they closed at 4pm with an order for 2 new pairs of glasses... which is not always a guarantee elsewhere in terms of speediness. Very painless overall. The frames are not cheap but hey, their selection is vast and they seem to stand by the quality of their catalog. I am most pleased with them and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone!

Hands down one of the best doctors I've ever seen!!! First, Amy was so kind and helpful! She was able to get me in that same day! I came in really anxious after an eye injury and she immediately put me at ease. She was so calm, kind and incredibly patient. Exactly what I needed! She took her time with all the testing, explained everything in detail, and never rushed me. Even when I asked what felt like "silly" questions, she made sure I felt heard and answered every single one with care and professionalism. Her thoroughness and bedside manner are top quality. I left feeling not only relieved, but genuinely cared for. Highly, highly recommend her if you to be in the best hands!

1st time with Eye Mechanix. I stopped in because I have a giant skull and needed larger frames. They had a good array of options on hand and even ordered in some frames for me to try on before I made my choice. I also got really cool sunglasses (and I don't look like a poser with them).

Everyone here is amazing! Kassy, Lise and Amy are all sweethearts who are willing to help with anything, even me who keeps buying glasses elsewhere that don't fit my face well and need a lot of adjustments! They are always down to help in any way they can and I appreciate them greatly!
Also a few years back my old glasses broke unexpectedly and Eye Mechanix was able to see me same day and order me a new pair ASAP. :)

The office was very pleasant and the staff took extra care in helping me choose frames. Dr. Ricketts took his time with examining my eyes and even explained and showed me photos he took of my optic nerve! (Which I thought was pretty neat). Dr. Ricketts was knowledgeable and took his time with the exam which was nice because I didn't feel rushed and I felt as though he did his due diligence. So far I am super pleased with the care I received at Eye Mechanix.
