I love this place!! Dr Elias is excellent and so skilled. I totally trust him. Staff is great also.
Tried another place last year that had a sale on frames and it was the biggest mistake. So happy to be back!
I love this place! I have been visiting Dr. Gordon as my primary eye doctor since he was at the location on Troy and Devon. Now he's moved to his own location, Eye on Devon. Dr. Gordon is exceptional when it comes to his expertise on eye care. He is also a very good person. Maybe about 15-20 years ago I had my purse stolen that had my glasses in there. I went back with my mom to get myself a new pair of glasses, and Dr Gordon gave me the glasses free of charge after that happened in order to help me out. I never forgot that act of kindness. I have also visited the other eye doctors in his practice if I needed a visit and he wasn't there, and they are all very knowledgeable and kind as well. I moved out of the area about 10 years ago and still make the drive back to visit Eye on Devon when I need my annual vision exam. I would recommend Eye on Devon to anyone needing quality eye care.
Great place. they had a lot of patience with teaching my daughter how to put her lenses in
Had a wonderful experience getting my eyes checked and also fitted for contact lenses. Dr. Elias was very patient and explained everything well. He is courteous and friendly - he has an excellent bedside manner! Definitely highly recommend. Wonderful place
Stay away from this place. The staff is so rude. It took them over 2 1/2 months to get my glasses.
They lost one frame, sent a replacement frame and claimed that's what I chose. I did NOT choose this hideous replacement!
in addition, the prescription is not set correctly in the lens on this pair glasses or on the other pair that I purchased.
The office manager, claiming that I chose this frame, and scription was set correctly in the lens. virtually, calling me a liar in front of other patients.
They do not stand behind the products they sell. Do not go into this store and get glasses.
My whole family has been having eye exams and ordering glasses from Dr. Gordon every year for the last 20 years. Dr. Gordon is very professional, very knowledgeable, and pleasant. Always willing to help if there is a damage to the glasses, that happened a lot when my kids were young. The office moved down the street on Devon and it is very clean and spacious, plus there is plenty of parking, that is usually a challenge on Devon. I know other patients happy to use his services for many years.
I have been seeing Dr. Elias for years, before he joined Eye on Devon, and he is wonderful. He really listens, is patient, and takes time to go over any questions you have. Very thorough. It's a small clinic, which isn't overwhelming, and it feels like a family-owned place. Everyone who works there is very nice, and they have free parking. Highly recommend!
Started going here two years ago because it was covered by my insurance, stopped going here as of today. Will never return.
This place is a joke, Dr. Gordon was nice enough and I think I held my criticism for too long because I found him pleasant. I think he hurried my last eye exam and gave me too weak a prescription; but this is not where my criticism lies. Bumbling fool though he is.
This place has the worst office staff imaginable.
I received a call a few days ago telling me that my next 6 months worth of contacts had arrived. I called back to confirm, and they said, yes they were waiting for me, and I had better hurry because if I waited too long they would have send them back. I asked if they were paid for and they said yes, paid for by your insurance. I hadn't placed an order recently, but back six months ago I had ordered a years worth of contacts and had received only the first half of it.
So I went into the office today to pick up my contacts. The office staff could not find them. They were incredulous, and interrogated me about why I thought I might have contacts here since my file said nothing about them. I told them that I only came in because I got a call the day before telling me my contacts were waiting for me. The two ladies in the office mused that it must have been so-and-so (other office staff member) who erroneously called me.
I was informed that any information I received on the phone from this lady was wrong. But if I wanted to order contacts now they could place the order. Oh and even though I know my insurance covers a years worth of contacts, they said I'd have to pay for this next six months. The six months worth of contacts I was just told were waiting for me and had been paid for.
Frustrating yes, but this is NOT the first time this sort of thing has happened here. getting conflicting information on the phone from incompetent office staff then coming into the office to to find that the person you talked to on the phone is not there and that the person you find in the office blames the whole situation on this mysterious idiot employee who calls clients and tells them lies.
If this person even exists, how do they still work there?
This was the third and last time I was told on the phone to go to the office to pick something up after being assured it was waiting for me only to find out none of that was true.
Save yourself frustration and a few wild goose chases and skip this place.
