Nothing but great experiences every time I am there. Dr. Jessie takes the time to listen to my concerns. She also takes the time to explain what's going on with my sight and answer any questions that I have. I've recently had a major issue with my left eye that they got me right in for. She was very concerned, started me immediately on medication and wanted a follow up the next day. The next day my condition was worse. She called a local opthalmologist for an appointment for me to get a second opinion. They took me in right away. I was assured by the opthalmologist that Dr. Jessie had me on the right course of treatment. Allowing the medication time to work, a noticable improvement starting happening. I read the reviews and see people complaining about the cost and what the insurance doesn't pay. The practice is not responsible for what your insurance does or does not pay. Your responsibility as a consumer is to know your insurance coverage. This is my eye sight! It's extremely important to keep it in good shape. I trust this office to do that for me. I would hate to think that I could have lost my vision because I don't like the cost of treatment. I don't have optical insurance. It's more about priorities.

Very rude front desk. They also added features on our lenses that we didnt ask for and said it was a requirement. After we paid the really high bill after insurance, 2 months down the road they sent us another bill demanding more money because they said the insurance didnt cover it. They hounded us for it. We refused to pay because we paid our high bill already and that fight is with the insurance. Always keep your receipts.

Dr. Crabtree is wonderful. I especially appreciate his willingness to take the time to explain things to me in terminology that I can understand. He recommended Neurolens glasses and explained how they worked. I was initially very skeptical, and took some time to research. I am so thankful, however, that I purchased the Neurolens glasses. My daily headaches and neck stiffness have almost disappeared overnight. Thank you!

Rude staff, made it seem like everything was an inconvenience for them. The male doctor convinced me to schedule an extra imaging appointment just so the woman doctor could then inform me my numbers were all in a reasonable range and there really was no need for it in the first place. Ended up taking a full day off of work for this because my eyes were supposed to get dilated and it ended up being a useless 30 minute appointment that costed 150 dollars that my insurance did not cover. If you're going to see a doctor, ask to see the woman. She actually explains her thought process as opposed to the male that thinks you're too stupid to understand a simple procedure. If you're gonna buy glasses, just go to cape or St. Louis the selection is so limited down here

The staff was awesome in faxing info to an out of state optometrist for a family member who is not in Illinois any longer. I highly recommend Jacobs & Crabtree in Marion!!.

Dr Jessie Crabtree definitely is a top-notch Optometrist, and I recommend her to anyone looking for Optometry care.

Great experience! Very welcoming staff, everyone is kind and helpful. Dr Jessie is informative and wants patients to completely understand each step of the exam and any forthcoming procedures. No worries here, they all take care of the patients very well!
