Everything was handled with professionalism! It seemed like everyone cared about their job from the moment the appointment was made to when I was greeted by the front desk and having the full exam. I had two children under five and they went out of their way to make them feel special and comfortable. I highly recommend this company especially with the staff they currently have!

Just called to try and see when my Daughter could get new glasses the employee who answered the phone was rude and I swear she was smacking gum in my ear while she was being smart and short on the phone! If you don't like your job get a new one! It's only 9:30 in the morning!I've been going there for years and never had anyone so rude smh

I recently acquired a 500$ pair of glasses from this establishment. They are frameless and somewhat fragile but there is a fault in the pair of glasses itself and the employees continue to blame it on this particular frame just being of poor quality and too fragile. I have examined them enough to know that the problem I am having is not from being to fragile or even wear and tear but a fault in the pair of glasses itself. The right arm continues to loosen itself away from the lens but the left one hasn't done it once. When I bought the glasses the right side was just a little bit more angled from the lens but I thought maybe that's just the way my head was shaped because they measured my head before I decided to order them. If the problem was from poor quality or wear and tear the left side would be doing the same thing as the left. When I bought them they told me they would be hard to keep nice and I feel like they are using that information as a way to blame me for damaging glasses that I acquired partially broken from the start. I have went to the store on two separate occasions and on the first occasion one of the employees took them to the back and made the problem better but did not fix it. On the second occasion I had an employee tell me that they have problems with these frames all the time and she hates that they sell them because they are of such poor quality and design. She nevertheless took them to the back and to my surprise they looked completely fixed. Unfortunately a few days went by and they were right back to where they were. I have a couple problems with what she said. If these frames are of such poor quality and they shouldn't be selling them why are they stocking something that is not worth the money. Also why is she telling customers who spent hundreds of dollars at their store, that the glasses they purchased are basically crap. At this point Bard Optical has completely dropped the ball as far as customer service is concerned. Selling glasses that their own employees are speaking negatively about after a customer purchases them is not good practice. Nor is blaming the customer for damages to glasses when this apparently happens to this particular pair of glasses frequently.

The staff at this location over the course of three days tricked me into believing that they accepted my insurance just to after my exam Spring on me that I have to pay out-of-pocket and because I didn't they refuse to give me my prescription. I wasted $25 in gas going there in the first place wasted time And all while I'm going through a very tough time in my life and don't even have anywhere to live, and these people are just trying to take advantage of anyone they can.

If I could give zero stars I would. Last year my boyfriend went in to get his prescription glasses and contacts. We spent extra money to get thin lenses that were scratch resistant. The lenses he got are fish bowled, extra thick and scratched within the first 24hours with gentle use. He also wanted soft contacts he's use to getting, and they forced him to get hard lenses. My boyfriend works 40-60 hours a week. The ONLY time he's available is on the weekend. But the doctor is NEVER there on the weekend. And so no corrections can be made on the weekend. We put up with it anyways. So flash forward to last week, he tries to order new contacts he NEEDS them for work. He ordered expedited shipping. They deny his order and tell him he HAS to get a different set and tell him that it will take 5-7 days So he says "yes fine but I NEED expedited shipping" they said "Yes okay we can do it" then they charge him, cancel the order again and still don't select expedited shipping. Do NOT go here. I repeat DO NOT go to Bard Optical. They don't want to help, they don't know how to help and are completely useless. We have spent upwards of $1000 out of pocket. And we are constantly given the run around and treated like second class citizens. WALMART has better service. The goat eating your glasses has better service. Please take my advice and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. This place is a joke.

Doctor was awesome, visit went well with staff was extremely friendly and professional. Office was extremely clean. Glasses were available for pickup very quickly. However, when I picked my glasses up, I immediately could tell the prescription was drastically off. I've worn glasses for about 5 years now and have never experienced such a badly written prescription after having visited many different establishments for an eye exam. Of course no 2 prescriptions are going to be written exactly the same by different doctors, but this prescription was just all around awful, actually caused my vision to blur drastically and were uncomfortable to wear for longer than a few seconds. I was told to take them home and wear them for 10 days anyways. I needed replacement glasses so I ordered glasses online using an old prescription and just chucked my glasses from Bard into a drawer. Sometimes mistakes happen and I was ready to just write it off as a personally bad experience until I received a call from Bard thinking to be maybe a follow up about my experience. I explained the situation to the staff member over the phone, not wanting new glasses, only checking to see if maybe I could receive a new eye exam or have my old prescription from a different company be evaluated to see if maybe their was some sort drastic error made that could be recognized by viewing my other prescription. The sentiment by the staff member was essentially "oh well, you'll have to pay for another exam out of pocket." This felt sort of like being asked to pay for a second sandwich from a restaurant who dropped my first sandwich. The lack of accountability really rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't want new glasses or even new lens placed in the glasses I ordered, I wanted only a new eye exam done or maybe for the doctor to look at my old prescription and see what exactly could've went wrong.

This place is great! The ladies were so helpful and amazing. We joked and laughed, felt like I've known them for years. Awesome selection, very reasonable prices, updated equipment, clean. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
