Walmart Vision & Glasses

Staff is incredible! Doctor is so kind and sweet... even though he is independent from Walmart itself, I'm so glad we went. VSP (our insurance) covered most of it. Had a small co-pay and dry eye exam charge, along with another charge seperate from our insurance. No big deal! I struggled to pick out frames and both of the ladies were extremely helpful with my "snazzy" new glasses Thank you Dr and staff!!!

I had an excellent experience at Walmart Vision in Morris, Illinois. The staff was very pleasant, professional, and easy to work with. Everything was handled smoothly, and I felt well taken care of throughout the process. I would definitely return and recommend them to others.

The doctor was nice. He was amazing As for the women answering the phones......... If you know a Medicaid client is coming Warn them about pricing and the rules for your provider. We only get so many free exams a year. Pretty sure one. You just wasted my one exam to tell me ....oh your insurance only covers so much money towards your frames here at this facility. Mind you, you didn't even show my frames in that price range.wasted my entire time. Took off school.wasted my only free exam for the year so now I have to go put out full money for full frames and still not get my glasses that I'm supposed to get one pair for free through Medicaid so thanks maybe be more informative next time

I have been using this location for quite awhile. It's never really been great but this last visit has made me question if they are really qualified.Doctor told us, "Good news! No new prescription needed." Great! Glasses came in, my son tries them on and they are blurry. Employee says prescription has changed. We respond it wasn't supposed to. Employee wants my son to wear blurry glasses for 24hrs to get used to them. It was the wrong prescription so there is nothing to get used to. Employee goes somewhere in the back several times to check on or with someone. Employee comes back with my son needs a new eye exam to verify prescription. Nope. Just needed same prescription with new frames. I'm no longer trusting them so I just get a refund. I mention that they billed my vision insurance and they will need to refund them too. Employee denies my insurance was billed!I was grilled about my insurance 3 times. 1. When appointment was made. 2. A phone call telling me what I was eligible for which was incorrect. 3. When son had eye exam. Two of these three times they were rude and one just had incorrect info. Employee visits back room again and understands my insurance was billed. No, Hey, sorry about that! Final result is I have to trust that the employee will tell insurance company glasses were refunded. I cannot use my vision insurance in 2-4 weeks with another doctor because Walmart needs time to contact and resolve. Very disappointed because this should have been simple and wanted son to have new glasses before school starts.

The eye doctor here is wonderful and all the staff is so kind. Diana was wonderful at the desk helping this mama who was truly struggling that day. The doctor is so amazing with my 11 year old and explains things so she understands as well.

The ladies in there are as rude as can be.. both the older women are very very rude and talk about customers after they leave or hang up from a phone call. The doctor gives you a talk about dry eyes.. I never had an issue with dry eyes but somehow he charged me $30.00 for that talk.. so that was 1/3 of the price of the exam. I got glasses at another walmart in Oregon at $50 per lens not even 8 months ago so I ordered the same lens here.. they forced an up grade somehow to $75 per lens more. Go anywhere but morris walmart. I was wondering why it took a month to get into Ottawa walmart and morris was a couple days.. don't spend any money there.. they are rude and will rip you off..

Wow. Can not recommend enough. I was nervous having to pay out of pocket and they made this experience so easy and stress free for me. The doctor showed me what he was seeing and explained everything so perfectly and professionally. They knew from the start that I was on break from work, and they made it a priority to have me out within 45 minutes of arriving. I will definitely be back.

Some employees are very helpful and attentive, others don't seem to know what they're doing or how to do it. Had an appointment for 11:30, showed up, they didn't even give me my paperwork to fill out until 20mins later, then moved 4 people in front of me, when knowing I have a separate appointment to get to and children to get off a bus. Not very professional or timely.
