I would have given this place a 5 stars for the quick and efficient service, but I felt uncomfortable by the touchiness and name calling (dear, honey, sweetheart) of the eye doctor himself during my eye exam. The front ladies Sam and Kat ( I think it was her name) were super welcoming and nice. The doctor did explain to me all the contacts options and how to use them, but he would constantly tap on my shoulder and on my back. At the moment I felt uncomfortable and didn't say anything to him but I did let the front ladies know. I believe that as a professional there should not be a lot of touching from patient to EYE doctor if it's unnecessary and if there is no consent. This is all part of trauma informed care, which I hope they all have training in that subject matter.

Not happy with how they are shady about adding on the warranty for your eyeglasses without asking. Or they ask in a very convoluted way so you don't know they're adding a warranty that costs money.
We managed to get them to remove the warranty we did not want and now I see another $40 add-on charge. No idea what this is for.
This is the second time I've gotten glasses here and had this happen with the sneaky additional charges. I don't think we will be coming back to Sam's Optical if this is how they do business.

Hands down best optical place I've ever been to. Dr. Charles Hoang, Syed, and Sam were so kind and welcoming. They were very patient and knowledgeable. They all took the time to truly make it a great experience. Best part was that they had a genuine smile from the moment I saw them, to the moment I left! :) 10/10 would recommend coming here.

The black women who work there was very rude with me, her name is "Sam" she NOT help me at all, my prescription was wrong I went there 3 times bcause I can't see with new prescription she told me that am crazy and I do not nothing about her job. And the end i wasnt available again to see the doctor.

This place is amazing. It was a quick and easy service. The associates helped me pick out that I truly love. The Doctor Charles Hoang, was super friendly, good sense of humor and caring. Overall the whole team gave me so much information about glasses I did not know.
