Vision center here sucks , there customer service sucks , have been going here for yrs and just NOW the receptionist tells me 2 kids per family per day , I asked okay schedule 2 out of the 3 early in the day , and I can come back later in the day afternoon with the 3rd child , she told me no we can not do that????? So you're telling me there are no more available appointments later in the day ? Makes no sense told her this was something new she told me NO ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR A WHILE which is a lie because I've always taken all 3 kids at once and no we were never a walk in appointment ALWAYS scheduled appointments. I will not be going back to this in considerate place.

Been coming here for years. I only come because Dr Patel is wonderful and personable at all times. I live in oak park and take a bus to get here. If he leaves I'll go where he goes. Some of the main front associates need to have a customer service workshop. But it's walmart not surprised. There is a Hispanic lady who always intakes and does the eye exam before seeing the Dr, who KNOWS what customer service is.

Dr Patel is always so nice and helpful! ^ whom the 3 stars are for. But his front desk woman.. (who I know has been working there for a while) is always so rude to me and other clients! It's like if you don't like to work there just leave! Not a pleasant visit. Overall doc is awesome and the front desk is trashhhhhh

Everyone there is great. There's a older black woman infront with a attitude even to an older woman that unfortunately I had to speak up for. She was mad she had to do her job is what is told me. After that the lady was looking at me try to start an argument. Then the ups guy came in and she was hugged up on him. It was really sad to be honest acting like that especially infront of her daughter or granddaughter. She was watching her daughter in there or some little girl that was with her.

Dr Patel was great and very informative. The front desk staff on the other hand aren't very helpful. They're rude and don't seem to have an urgency to help customers. My glasses were ready for a few days and they didn't even bother to call, I was the one who had to call.

For the love of everything, this is the LAST time I let my wife bring the family here. It gets worse every time. How is this possible? And it's not the optometrist, it's the staff. We made an appointment, show up, and they say "I dont see your name". Our names were right there, plain as day. They blame everything on your insurance, "system too slow, your not on it" etc. Lol. What a joke. Or they dont have your color contacts available, when it IS, plain as day right in front of them. They have additional frames in the back but dont leave them out because ppeople steal them.
More Importantly, if they ask for your social security #, make sure you get the piece of paper back. They will leave it out. No need to take a chance with identity theft.
Whew.... I'm done.
