I have written a review before about Advanced Eye Care. I need I feel I must write another one. A month or so ago I had issue with contact lens. I had no appointment and asked if someone could please look in my eye to see if any contact was stuck. They said my insurance wouldn't cover that would be a medical issue with insurance. I asked if i could pay out of pocket and they did have an opening to see someone.
I was escorted into an exam room and saw the nicest Dr O. who checked both my eyes to make sure nothing was stuck in either of them. Turned out to be dry eyes only.
I went up to desk to see how much the service had cost and they told me have a good day! I cannot say enough about this place.
Dr Tiffany was my doctor who I absolutely LOVED but is gone.
I will remain a patient love them. Very good people. Give them a try!

Doctors and staff were fine - the upsell push on the glasses at the end was ridiculous. Not matter how many times I told them I want simple glasses that fit my insurance, they came back with prices that were way higher than my insurance, then just higher than my insurance. Wasted a good 30 minutes of my life when they couldn't get glasses within my insurance. Found them online with my insurance in about 5 minutes once I got home, at a much, much, MUCH lower cost. Buyer beware, as the upsells come right after the appt.
I realize this may be normal practice, but when you state clearly what you are looking for and in the range you are looking, the answer should be either, A) we can't do that in that range, or B) here this is what we have in that price range. Not the irritating song and dance of the upsell.

The Doctor I have here, Dr. Tiffany Polanek, is great, and the reason I always return here for my eye examinations. Staff is friendly. Glasses here are more expensive than other places, and they refuse to accept the $100 Medicare payment towards eyeglasses.
