America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

This afternoon I went into the office not having a clue about the frames I wanted, I just knew I needed glasses. While continuing to go back and forth through glasses the tech/assistant Danyail came over and assisted me & suggested a great pair of designer frames (that I love of course) and her customer service was impeccable. I would recommend a few of my co workers to this location just because of how kind, patient and helpful she was. I hope to see her every year. Great experience

Front desk lady is very pleasant and so are the doctors. Thank you for your help. Everyone in between the process needs a lot of support to get better in customer service. They kept me waiting for a very long time. A transaction that normally should take no more than 40 minutes (from front desk to after doctor's time) took me almost two hours. And all waiting and waiting. It is going to be almost one month and I am still waiting for my glasses to arrive.

The environment was relaxing and welcoming. Danyail's patience & grace was greatly appreciated. She made my visit quite smooth. Usually when its for me to purchase new frames in the store I'm left unattended and have to figure things out on my own. This time nothing like that happen which was a refreshing experience thanks to her.

1/15/2026 Oak Lawn Location Rude, aggressive, and disrespectful management-red head Caucasian woman and rude, smart mouthed employee-African American female red weave and black and white framed glasses. I inquired about what was taking so long to pick up glasses as two different people were working on the glasses. African American girl asked me...Do you want your glasses because I don't want to hold you up? Who talks to a customer like that? I guess her. Then the young girl preceeded to eyeball me down like a little kid, batting her eyes at me when I just looked at her and did not answer her. She had the nerve to repeat what she said to me like she was in the right or making a point. I asked to speak to a manager, enter red-head Caucasian. While speaking to the manager, African American girl jumped into a manager/customer conversation. I asked the manager did she see how the employee was behaving. Manager redirected the employee. Then the cherry on the visit, manager preceeded to get aggressive and smart with me when I asked again what was going on with the glasses. She gave a sacrastic reason after I said two people were working on them. "Obviously one needed help." The manager preceeded to became rude with her comments, tone, and body language while standing over me as I sat at the desk when I asked about making a complain over her head. Employees are a direct reflection of management. Manager rude and aggressive and so was the employee. Sad. You can't come pick up glasses, ask what's going on when your waiting a long time without any explanation without two red head rude and aggressive women showing their true colors. My experience was great. I had an appointment for 1:00pm and arrived early to make sure all paperwork was completed. It was nice they were able to see me earlier. Christine, who was helping me was very patient and allow me to look for a frame that would fit me. It's nice to have someone that doesn't rush you and is kind. Thanks I'll be back

If I could give negative stars I would. It took me months to finally convince my fiance to go get his eyes checked, he's never been to an eye doctor before. He agrees and come into this store. The lady at the front desk was great and so was the doctor but the lady talking to him about glasses found out he didn't have any money with him and put the frames in a drawer and told him to have a good day. They didn't explain his co-pay or that he could get his prescription and shop around. They just shooed him out the door. What a load... I've never had a professional doctor's office not explain what the insurance covers, co-pays or the release of his prescription. For his first experience at this, I'll have to find a new doctor with more compassionate and knowledgeable staff. Lost my business for good

I came in to get my glasses adjusted and Christine, was a delight! She was so attentive and helpful and overall just caring. Thank you Christine for making sure my glasses fit properly! This is my favorite location from now on.

I have gone to America's Best in Oak Lawn. I sat down with Danyail to discuss the glasses that were best for me. She was patient and kind. She worked with my insurance until she found an affordable price that fitted within my budget. She is well experienced and knowledgeable in her job.
