I had a wonderful experience at Eye Specialists of Illinois. My wait time was about 10-15 in the front. I was taken right back for my eye exam. Then waited while my eyes dilated in a separate waiting room. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything so I could understand. I received a printed prescription and a printed sheet with my other instructions. I would recommend given their office a visit.

I always go to LensCrafters and Big City Optical, but this time I won't be going back to them. You can clearly experience difference of the professionalism of Eye Specialist of Illinois, very knowledgeable and care about the eye health of the customers. Dr.Annam would go one step further to make sure your eye health is taken care of and answer any questions you might have. The only flaw is the front desk sometimes might not have the best attitude toward the patients, but the doctors are amazing which why I'm here for.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the most infuriating and unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a medical office. I called specifically to confirm whether they accepted my insurance. Not a complicated question, just a yes or no. The person on the phone confidently told me YES, they accept it, even AFTER they put me on hold to check with billing. So I fought traffic, and showed up on time for my appointment. And then? I was met with blank stares at the front desk and told, "We don't take that insurance." No apology. No accountability. No solution. Just a shrug and an attitude like it was somehow my problem that they gave me the wrong information. I cannot express how disrespectful and careless that feels. My time is valuable. I rely on accurate information, especially when it comes to healthcare. And instead I was misinformed, inconvenienced, and treated like it didn't matter. If this is how they handle something as simple as verifying insurance, I don't want to imagine how they handle actual patient care. I walked out furious, disappointed, and absolutely certain I will never return. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that respects patients enough to give correct information and take responsibility when they mess up. And the scary part? I was planning to schedule my mother's glaucoma surgery there. Thank God this happened now. If the office can't even verify insurance correctly, I can't imagine trusting them with something as serious as eye surgery.

Dr Kaushik Annam and his surgical coordinator Vivian Durdov Did an excellent job for my Right eye Cataract surgery.They gave me the best treatment and Vision.I have a Glucoma in my both eyes.Initially my health Insurance denied Twice for my Glucoma surgery.But they applied twice for my Glucoma Surgeries and wrote a necessary letter to the insurance company.Then after my insurance company Approved That.Thank you for doing an excellent and very good efforts for my eyes. If anyone needs a best eye Doctor,I will be strongly Recommend To Dr Annam and his wonderful best Team.

I am incredibly grateful to all the customer service staff. The assistant, Gigi, was very kind, attentive, and professional, answering all my questions and concerns. I was referred to the optical shop, where the service was terrible; they didn't even offer me any options, and the person in charge didn't provide any information. I just cane back from a follow-up visit with Dr. Jose ( pronounced "johs") and I can't help but shower him with praise. He is concise and specific with his prognosis and he explains in detail every reply to my queries. I am about to schedule an apointment with him for my wife.

Very thorough, very kind, answered all my questions. I have been a patient for several years including having had Cataract surgery a few years ago. Best Eye Doctors anywhere.

My 85 year old HANDICAP grandmother was left forgotten about in Doctors office for 2.5 hours. For a for 4 month post surgery check up .. a 5 minute process. Come to find out the doctor took his lunch & left her in the room. We walked out... Being un seen . The staffing there is clueless & very un professional. We where on time /10 minutes early & were taken 30 minutes late, all together we where there 3 hr & she never got her check up. I asked to have the doctor contact me & Nothing. DR. Jose you & Your Practice has Failed & wasted my Day I took off from work.
