I recently had a comprehensive eye exam at Eye Specialists of Illinois and the experience was truly five-star, showcasing seamless teamwork between the technical staff and the physicians. The Techs (Ophthalmic Technicians): The technicians were incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. They handle the essential groundwork--performing complex diagnostic tests, gathering the critical medical history, and operating the advanced equipment that ensures precise results. Their meticulousness makes the entire process smooth and gives the doctor the exact data needed for an accurate diagnosis. The MDs (Ophthalmologists): The doctors, such as Dr. John Moy or Dr. Jogin Jose (fellowship-trained specialists in the practice), are top-tier professionals. They take the technical data provided by the techs and combine it with their expert medical and surgical knowledge to develop a personalized treatment plan. I especially appreciated the physician's clear communication--they explained the diagnosis and future care steps (whether for a routine exam, cataracts, or glaucoma) with patience and clarity. It's evident that the commitment to patient care and the investment in modern equipment is shared across the entire team, making this practice a highly recommended choice for preserving and enhancing vision.

I'm a new patient and Dr. Jose did my cataract surgery. Excellent results and I thought he was excellent throughout the entire process, as was his entire office. They were efficient and friendly and returned calls quickly when I had questions. He's young and will be my forever opthomolagist. Highly recommend.

My exams are pretty easy as my eyes remain healthy for now. But Dr. Jose is a really nice guy. He even laughs at my jokes. I'm pleased he's my eye doc.

Dr. Jose is a good listener and compassionate. He makes the time to answer all questions and then asks if I have more questions. He has very good bedside manners. He fully informs me and makes recommendations based on my level of acceptable intervention. He doesn't push pharmaceuticals or procedures that offer little help.

Dr. Jose's office is very professional. Appt times are accurate. Good parking & very clean facility. Everyone greets you with a smile & all questions are answered & explained in detail so that anyone can understand. Dr.Jose, Maria & his other teammates are the best in the field. I would highly recommend them to my family members, coworkers & friends!!! A+
