I have been served by Dr. Juckett since 1992 even when I moved away and resided in other states including Michigan, Indiana and Texas. He is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and a great communicator. He takes copious notes throughout the eye examination and discusses his recommendations as well as asks for your thoughts and input. He offers a large assortment of frames and a good inventory of contacts. Most important is his vast experience of 40 plus years. I recommend Dr. Juckett as he and his team are professional, personable, courteous and kind. I will continue to look forward to my visits to Illinois and my annual eye appointment at Juckett Eye Care Center.

They were able to do a fantastic job fitting new prescription lenses to a pair of antique eyeglasses of a drilled, rimless design. Although it took 3 weeks, it was worth the wait. Very happy with how they turned out, and will likely return in the future.

Been seeing Dr Juckett for years now. YES you MAY have to wait. You are the patient... it takes patience Personally I love that the doctor takes his time with every single person and doesn't rush appointments. I know full and well enough that he does take his time with his patients and extra time when needed. Hes personable and knows about you and your family or things going on and he has a great repor with his patient family. many doctors these days that make the appointment and schedule their appointment so tight that doctors don't spend time with you. A nurse calls you and takes you back and might do some preliminaries but the doc doesnt read the details they look for highlights on the chart and move in briefly. you don't get all of your questions answered and oftentimes you might be in the room on time but you will still wait an excessive amount of time before the doctor enters and then they are only there for 5 minutes and out. Unless you have a preprepared checklist and know you have all of your questions ready which sometimes... things pop up... Dr Juckett isnt looking for more clients to bill he actually cares about YOU. He actually looks at your chart he compares his notes from the past and he truly treats you as a human under his care and not just a number. He makes solid recommendations has provided relevant referrals and his staff has helped me build confidence to wear glasses again. I actually wish there were more like him. Solid knowledgeable care and true patient concern. If you want to be seen rapid fire in and out just get it done and be over with because you have to show you met your annual requirement then hes not the right fit doc for you. I recommend anyone though who wants his level of care and attention to detail to schedule your appt appropriately. Dont just pick a lunch time... he has late afternoon apts as well. Do so during a time when you too can take time for your care and needs you want good quality care... and do so when you won't be upset for waiting for your turn. If you've read other reviews that have you worried he's pompous and doesn't care about your time or that he is more important than anyone... SO not true. But he is thorough and he's not going to not be thorough with 1 patient only. He will treat everyone at that same level of care. currently in a seat because you arrived . You simply have to wait for your turn and you won't be disappointed when you do.

Very professional and gentle, had a piece of wood saw-dust in my eyelid, it was an unbearable pain... doctor took it out with no problem. They know what they are doing. One of my employees had the same problem the next day but with fiber-glass, the doctor removed it without a problem. Its increadible how such a small piece of debris can create such great irratation in the eye. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was great!! Highly recommend!

Excellent exam! Checked everything, vision and eye health, completely. In depth knowledge of the insurance plans, eye wear options - everything to best improve your vision. No pressure to buy or upgrade. Very pleasant. I highly recommend this doctor.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Juckett for a long time. He is excellent and has been the only one who has been able to prescribe my vision accurately.

Poor service, took over 10 weeks to rectify broken glasses, not warm or welcoming on the phone. I had so hoped for better. The Dr. is excellent and seems to care.

Dr. Juckett is very thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. I've been seeing him over the last 20 years and I'd recommend him to anyone.
