I had an eye exam and purchased glasses from this office 2 to 3 years ago. It is time for another exam and new glasses. My experience with the staff at this location, the timeliness of getting my glasses and the experience as a whole was not good. I do not want to return to a Bard Optical and still have bad feeling a couple years later. I have been wearing glasses and dealing with Optometrist for 30 years and this location was by far the worst experience for me in the 30 years.
From the time I stepped in the door til the time I left my experience here was phenomenal. Every single person were so friendly && so caring. From the eye exam to helping me pick out glasses approved by insurance they were absolutely the best. So friendly , so polite, they talk to me , asked me about My life shared about theirs. It was very nice from start to finish. They explained everything they were doing explained about what choices I could consider. It was truly a great visit.
Horrible service by the guy at the front desk. They're flat out lying about not being able to give you your PD on my prescription. I paid for my prescription to be done everything that you pay for is included. It's your companies fault for charging such ridiculous prices on your frames. The guy at the front rudely spoke over and tried to correct me saying NO that's the process and that's how we do it. I won't be coming back. The doctor I've been here twice, said I had pink eye.... The next day without an eye drops it was gone. Next visit to get my vision tested gives me a prescription with completely different from a prescription I had with bond eye not even 5 months prior. Won't be coming back.. there's plenty others places around to choose from in the area.
I was seen in office for what I thought was bad allergies in my eyes. Dr. M, I'm sorry I can not remember the spelling of his name, knew right away something else was wrong. He spent an hour doing test and taking pictures. He asked me so many questions and reached a conclusion of Bells Palsy! Seeing it was Friday evening my dr was closed for the weekend. Dr .M called me Sat AND Sun to check in on me and advocated for me with my Dr's office. I was able to rule out a stroke and get the correct meds for the Bells palsy. So all this to say, Thank you so so much for caring and taking the time to find a solution. It means so so much to me! Amber Hayes (Smith)
Everyone was very friendly and very professional. Jennifer was very helpful in picking out my frames and explaining the options available for my glasses such as anti-glare, transitions, and polarization which are all nice features.
Everything was great! Everyone was very polite and helpful. Only complaint is the long wait to get your glasses. After 2 weeks I'm still waiting! Don't really understand! I must say my Doctor is incredible! I couldn't ask for better, she has really been helpful getting my vision back on track. She basically saved my left eye. I'm grateful I walked into her office.
I spoke with Tatiana on the phone yesterday, and she stated that I was called on August 25th to confirm my appointment for the 28th. After checking my voicemail and call log, I can confirm that no call was made on that day. I was also told I should have received both an email and a phone call, yet I received neither.
Why was I scheduled for an appointment that your office failed to properly confirm, especially when my last visit was all the way back in April? I'm extremely disappointed not only by the lack of communication, but also by how rude Tatiana was during our conversation. Because I did not receive any reminder, I unknowingly missed the appointment, and now the soonest available date is December 13th, moved from the original March 25th date.
Not only did this situation waste my time, but it also wasted yours. I have been patiently waiting to get my eye exam done, and the manager offered no help whatsoever. Instead, she spoke to me with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude.
Your team acts as though missing an appointment is solely the patient's fault, yet it is your protocol to send reminders. That is part of your responsibility to your patients.
I have attached my phone company's call log clearly showing that no call or message was received on the date I was told it was sent.

Dr. Patel and her staff are incredible, sweet, funny, and so down to Earth! I went in very nervous because previous experiences at other eye doctors have scarred me, but they made me feel so comfortable and safe. Caitlin was the one who helped me and answered all of my questions, and was so kind and patient while I was figuring out how to put in and take out contacts. She also joked with my boyfriend and I a lot to make me feel more comfortable, and I really appreciate that. Dr. Patel was the most professional, sweet, and helpful doctor I've ever had, and I'll recommend this place to everyone! I'm no longer scared to go to my eye doctor because of Dr. Patel and Caitlin.
