I really want to take my time writing this review, because the day I walked in was rough. The alarms were missed, the kids weren't cooperating, the ride I reserved was late, and the whole morning felt gloomy. By the time we finally arrived -- whew, I'm sure the tone in my voice and the look on my face were worth a thousand broken pieces. But the moment I walked in, everything shifted. I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine "Good morning." As I dropped my papers, my purse, tried to keep my grandson from jumping everywhere, and attempted to stop my 13-year-old granddaughter from arguing with her 11-year-old sister (who was absolutely instigating on purpose), my phone died mid-juggle with the charger hanging off of it. In the middle of all that chaos, the atmosphere inside was bright, cheerful, and inviting. The staff could have easily reacted to my frazzled energy, but instead they recognized it wasn't personal. They stayed calm, real, and professional, and helped ease my arrival more than they probably realized. They turned a stressful morning into something manageable -- and for that, I am truly grateful. THANK YOU to the entire team. I would recommend you all to everyone.

The staff are so nice and helpful, but even when you have an appointment it takes over an hour to be seen. Clear your whole day if you have to come in because it could take 2 to 3 hours to get back to the doctor. They have no respect for your time. So if you have to be at work or take the kids back to school be sure to plan ahead.

Best eye place in Peoria. I have cataracts and they got me glasses so I can see better and they are very friendly. I can see way better now thank you! It's like having new eyes. All the nurses are friendly. I want to kiss the eye doctor. Cathy Lee

I had a wonderful experience at Carver Optical. Mary was outstanding as well as the rest of the staff. The doctor was professional and really provided me with knowledge about what I needed. The best part is no one tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. I'd recommend this to everyone. Especially the cash paying customers.

Cannot recommend them enough. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctor was pleasant and efficient. They processed clients fairly quickly without making it feel rushed. The interior is clean, tastefully decorated, and not visually overstimulating. The TV has captions and the doctor knows the signed alphabet (atleast the one I saw, unclear if there are multiple so don't quote me on that part). There is also a wide selection of glasses. Lovely experience. No complaints.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor was extremely competent. Honestly, that was probably the fastest and most helpful eye exam I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this eye doctor since I was 8 years old I am now 35 I have had no problems... I have three children of my own that I have been bringing to this eye doctor all of their lives and had no problems until now I made an afternoon appointment now all of a sudden you want to tell me for the last 20 years you've never had afternoon appointments I don't think so someone lied to me and instead of fixing your mistake you want to get out of it with me that you don't have afternoon appointments if you didn't have afternoon appointments why on Earth would I be arguing that I did I made my appointment over a month ago and you're telling me that now you don't have afternoon appointments and then try to tell me that you've never had afternoon appointment available that is a bold face lie and someone needs to fix this and if this is your new policy I suggest you put it in your description for the future so I don't have to waste my time and my breath and my energy arguing on what I was told by your people... Lost a lifetime customer over something that was made up for what reason is unknown

The place is really good with glasses. My only issue is the schedule yesterday afternoon. I called the store and the lady told me to come today between 12 and three. I showed up the store was closed. I honestly feel like their time needs to be improved especially after the lady lied to me.
