Dr Head is an exceptional Dr! I would recommend everyone going to see him! He is very thorough and listens to you! He offers many solutions to different eye issues. I had went to him with a terrible eye stye infection that simply would not go away, he worked with me and set me on the right path of treatment! He is one of a kind and will get you to seeing things so crystal clear as he fits you with the perfect prescription and plan for your overall eye health! Thank you Dr. Head for being so passionate about what you do! The care you have provided me is top notch and the best I have ever received! Michelle, his office assistant is just as compassionate and caring as he is! She listens and advises you on picking out the proper frame for your face shape and is truly a joy to be around! Dr. Head got me in immediately for an eye emergency and treated me with patience and kindness. His exam was thorough and his bedside manner is incredible. The office staff was also amazing. I walked away with confidence after my emergency. He is now my new eye doctor! On a side note, the office is beautiful and the frame selection is outstanding. I highly recommend this office.

We were referred to Dr. Head by our primary care physician when our newly adopted 13 year old son from China had a serious eye emergency. Dr. Head immediately agreed to see our son that evening after hours. He was incredibly kind and patient even with the language barrier that made the appointment more difficult. His expert treatment of our son's serious eye emergency was such a comfort to us. He was able to diagnose our son's condition, prescribe the necessary medicines, monitor our son's healing, and follow-up with continued excellent eye care and glasses. We could not be more pleased with the outstanding care of Dr. Head and Illinois Vision Clinic.

Dr. Kerry Head and his staff were so congenial, getting your eyes checked isn't actually on anybody's priority list. But when you need to see an eye doctor I would recommend him. He is so knowledgeable about the eye and goes above and beyond to check your eyes and tells you what he sees in layman terms. You leave feeling better than when you came in. Something else that was special - when I walked in they called my by name and offered me a water or coffee!

I had a pair of glasses still under warranty get damaged. So I called the office of IVC to get them replaced, and after them telling me they would be in on a specific day, they weren't even open. I went back two days later at 3:30 and once again no one was there even though the sign said OPEN. After calling every number they have listed I call the emergency number. The gentleman apologized to me and said to come back that Friday to pick up the glasses. So naturally I come back Friday just for him to tell me I should've called the office the day after (even though they're only open mon&fri which their website doesn't say) we got off the phone, even though there was no mention of that when we first talked. So now instead of him taking care of it, he told me to call the other office because that's where the glasses are at apparently. So short story long I was told something numerous times just for it to be untrue. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I switched because I was looking for more peronalized care, not a cattle call with tons of people. He was on schedule, didn't have to wait, staff nice, very thorough exam. Less expensive that Bixby eye center. I switched my whole family to Dr. Head.

I have an extremely difficult prescription involving prism, Dr. Head takes the time to make sure the prescription is accurate and the lens grind is as prescribed. That solves headaches, empowers vision and saved me from straining so much. Thank you.

I have been to this place THREE time to pick up my glasses and each they are either closed (when online and at the door it says they are open), or they straight up don't have my glasses. It is absolutely ridiculous. I will never go back. You're better off going to LensCrafters.
