Dr. Vahey is the best! I have been seeing her since I failed my school eye test in first grade, I'm 17 now! I've seen her for yearly check-ups but just recently I experienced unusual eye pain and I was able to get in quickly and she figured out my problem fast and my eye was healed within a week of the medicine! I always look forward to my yearly visits with Dr. Vahey! She's my favorite of all the Dr's I see

Wow.....had a very unique situation today and they pulled through for me when I didn't expect them to. This type of thing is what makes me stay with IEC. Y'all are great and have very passionate and hard working employees. In the past my wait times were acceptable. Just like any great business they can get busy at times. Which shows they have a lot of clients that prefer them. I go to the East Peoria location and have always been pleased.

The lady on the phone was very nice. We were told by another MD that the condition my son MAY have was cellulitis which scared me. I told the lady on the phone I wanted to be seen and an MD had told me he may have cellulitis. His eye was swollen badly with also what looked to be a stye and was painful. I was thankful they put me on the schedule. The wait was 3 hours in all. But we were in the back and other professionals were tending to him/checking things with apparent direction from her. We finally saw the doctor and she was beyond rude. Demanded to know why I was there and telling me over and again it wasn't a walk in clinic. Her own staff scheduled me to be seen when all I did was tell them the truth. Condescending and does not know how to listen. Sad. My poor son. People should not be treated this way. Peoria deserves better.

Staff was very pleasant. Waiting time was horrible - we were there 3 hours. All for naught. She wouldn't listen to me and was condescending. She sent us home without any relief for the situation. Her advice - cold compresses. After telling me nothing eye related was wrong, she tried to get us to come back in 1 to 2 weeks. For what? if nothing is wrong. Ridiculous. Would not recommend to anyone!
