We love Dr. Lichtenstein! He is the patch Adams for optomology. The whole staff makes the kids feel at ease from the the start to end. I may have to drive a distance but it's worth it. Highly recommend. If a child can go into a Dr office, without fear, no tears and actually looking forward to the vist, the staff and Dr are doing something right. Awesome job!

My grandson, who is now 30... Went to Dr Steve for many years...he did corrective surgery when he was 4... there was no better Dr...his eyes are still perfectly aligned all these years later .. Micah and I still talk about Dr Steve and Miss Pam, their devotion and dedication to their young patients is what every Dr should strive to be!

Dr Steven Lichtenstein and everyone in his office are awesome, in my opinion he is the best pediatric ophthalmologist in central Illinois. We are so glad he's back and seeing patients again, We couldn't locate him for awhile but now that he is with Osf children's hospital is easier to get a hold of him and schedule appointment. I haven't seen him at his current practice, but I saw Dr. Steve for years when he worked in Louisville, KY. He did two surgeries on me back in the early 90s. I am now 30 and cannot thank him enough. I would love to see him again just for old time sake. He is an amazing doctor and left a lasting impression.

Never on time... Ever. By a long shot. Always without notice, explanation, or apology. However, they have great doctors and cadre of medical staff. Just stinks the administration side can't support them or the patient and family experience well enough.
2024 update... Holy cow, they were on time for our last visit!
