Just had my first visit with Dr. Jennifer Wilson. It was a very beneficial experience. So appreciate her knowledge and patience with my severe dry eye issues. Glad I found her and highly recommend her services. Oh, and her staff was cheerful and accommodating as well.

I went in to vision care Center after having a not so good experience at another optometrist in Peoria. Dr. Wilson was so thorough! She spent a lot of time answering my questions and addressed my concerns. Top-notch staff as well. Very helpful and friendly.

Called for an appointment.i have had multiple eye surgeries in Iowa city.needed very specific exam for monitoring my detached retina surgery that was botched by Dr Reddy in Peoria. had surgery in Iowa city to fix what Dr. Reddy did wrong.girl answered phone listened to what I was asking then never responded.some one else got on phone who was very annoyed that I had called.took my name and number without asking any questions about what I needed.assumed someone would call back but couple weeks later it's clear they don't have time or want to bother....SMH

I do not have insurance, so eye exams are something that is a last resort. I thought this place was reasonably priced for a comprehensive exam, and I felt that the doctor was thorough. I suspected I had an eye alignment issue and I do. It was causing so much strain and anxiety/strange symptoms that my PCP could not understand. While I haven't gotten my glasses yet, I am very optimistic that this is the solution. I wish I would have just paid the money to get checked a few years ago. They also gave me 20% off since I don't have insurance.

Went in for my routine eye exam with Dr. Jennifer Wilson. I've had a "speckle" inside my right eye for many years. Dr. Wilson became very concerned because the speckle had changed color and size. Her concern was that it had possibly become an Ocular Melanoma. She fast tracked me to the University of Iowa Hospital Ophthalmology Department. After many tests at the U of I, the Ocular Oncologist concern had dropped considerably. The two doctors I saw at the University of Iowa praised Dr. Jennifer Wilson highly, the fantastic job she did catching the change in my eye. I go back to the U of I in 4 months for a recheck just to make sure nothing has changed. I appreciate Dr. Jennifer looking out for me, she's a wonderful doctor who cares for her patients.
P.S. - this entire process between Dr. Jennifer and the University of Iowa all happened in a week! What an amazing job!

Dr. Suarez is the kindest eye doctor I have ever gone to! I felt completely relaxed with him! He is incredibly knowledgable and answered all questions I had. He, by far, has seriously been the best eye doctor I have ever seen in my life, and I have been going since I was in the 3rd grade! Ms. Patricia, who works at the front desk helped me get the best deal between my two insurances. She was incredibly kind and welcoming through the entire process! Lastly, Ms. Stephanie who helped me choose my glasses was just as fantastic! This is a great Vision Care Center, and I truly appreciate all the helped I received.

We had a bad experience with the Washington store. They over charged us for our deductable. I called them and they stated they didn't know how to check it and would have the lady that does billing at the Peoria store contact me. It has been three weeks with no call back. I can't get anyone to refund our money. They didn't schedule a follow up appointment and then when I asked them about it they still didn't schedule it or order a trial pair of contact lenses. We stopped back in to get our prescription so we could order contacts from another business and then they wanted to reorder the trial contacts. It's been over six weeks since they were suppose to order the trial contacts for the second time and we haven't heard from them.
I have tried to call both Peoria and Washington and it transfers to voicemail.

Tried to get my prescription from them to get glasses from another place. First, they did not give me my glasses prescription but my contacts prescription. I went in again to get the correct one, and was given an expired prescription that also did not work. For a third time, I called them and gave them the fax number to fax the CORRECT prescription. Waited for an hour, never got it, tried to call more times and was not answered (they were open at the time) and ended up calling a different Vision Care.
