Jeffrey Kershaw, MD

Dr. Kershaw is an excellent doctor. He is caring, listens well and spends the needed time to understand your needs and concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He worked with my wife and me through a very trying time and we both appreciate his help and expertise.

I've seen Dr. Kershaw for several years. I take a medication which requires eye exams every 6 months. He also treated me when I had an ulcer on my eye. He has a great personality and is very knowledgeable. He does not rush through the appointment and takes great care in his exams. His staff is also very personable and they are prompt and the waits are not long at all.

Dr Kershaw is absolutely outstanding. I first saw him many years back when I had started to have a lot of eye problems. My symptoms were terrible to the point that I was missing a lot of work. I saw a total of three local ophthalmologists, two of which completely misdiagnosed my condition. Thank god for Dr. Kershaw otherwise I'd most likely be blind right now. I also want to share that he is very caring. My insurance wouldn't cover an eye medicine that I needed. Well, Dr Kershaw drove all the way to his office on a Sunday to put together a kit of samples for me which saved me a lot of money. For him to do that on his day off was well beyond the call of duty. He's the best!

Dr. Kershaw took care of my mom and me. He's funny, patience and never rush you out of his office. His office help is just as wonderful.

Dr Kershaw is a 5 in my books. The only one who was able to help with my botched cataract surgery & get the proper eyeglass prescription for my monovision! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

He removed cataracts from my both eyes and administered an implant. ..Very good, delicate procedure but his hands are very light, couldn't feel his hands are doing something. Highly recommendable.

One would expect that an Ophthalmologist should know the difference between a stye and basil cell carcinoma. I was referred to Kershaw with an open lesion on my lower eyelid that had been there for two years, after three trips to my primary care phycisian who had assumed it was a stye. Kershaw, without ever asking me a question about the lesion or doing an examination, also defaulted to the diagnosis of a stye. In a poor impersonation of Hawkeye Pierce, he handed me ophthalmic ointment from his pocket and said it was a stye. The problem is, styles are not open lesions for two years. It was basil cell carcinoma. It was my Optometrist, at a routine vision exam a year later, that made this diagnosis. Only then, after the lesion had grown significantly larger, did I get a referral to Dermatology, who cut away half of my lower eyelid, requiring reconstructive surgery. Now I am permanently disfigured from something that would have been a simple matter if Kershaw had taken a proper history and done a proper examination to make a correct diagnosis.

This doc i& is staff are all excellent! They are knowledgeable, patient & kind. I've had 2 cataract surgeries with him & I highly recommend him
