Bright View Family Vision

Messed up my prescription years ago when ordering glasses, which took multiple visits to get right and never fixed my contact prescription to match, even though I paid for that service. Called over the phone to ask for details of updated script and was told I need to pay again if I want help, in a very negative tone. Went to the doctor and the receptionist instantly told me they would call the police if I didn't leave. Eventually the doctor spoke with me and told me that it was my fault and I accepted the bad prescription. They are great as long as you do exactly what they say, otherwise they will treat you very poorly and basically insist you go elsewhere. The customer is only as valuable as the doctor believes that you'll swipe away without asking questions. Also back when they finally got my glasses corrected, I received a text saying to schedule an appointment to pick them up. I didn't understand why I would need an appointment so I just went there to pick them up. Apparently the doctor was having lunch and she had to unlock the door to hand them to me. I'll never forget the look of disdain she had for me, so none of what happened today (above) surprised me l. I was a huge bother then and an even bigger bother today because I asked questions instead of paying right away. I've had good work done there before and she seems to be good at her job most of the time, but it appears that her ego (big shot doctor, (eye roll)) is seeping into how the staff believes they should treat customers who ask questions. Fun fun. (I'm bracing for some BS canned message response with a passive aggressive tone and underlying message of "we're sorry you feel that way. Yes, we charged you and you didn't get a good product but hey, it's on you. We could have just helped to make it right but since we aren't making money on this specific task, heres some BS technical reason and here's the door")

I was extremely impressed with Bright view Family Vision. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Dr was very knowledgeable. The equipment was state of the art. I will definitely be returning for my vision care.

Amazing staff that help you with anything you need. Dr Allspaw is very sweet and a wonderful eye doctor. She makes you feel comfortable when giving you your eye exam. Definitely recommend this place!

The team was awesome. My husband and I had not been to eye doctor in years or ever. We felt comfortable and at ease. The doctor was on point and explained in detail. Both receptionist and doctor was professional, pleasant and had great customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience.

I had a great experience with my visit. Dr. Allspaw was very knowledgeable and did a thorough exam. She found something prior optometrists I've gone to didn't realize (Ive been seeing eye Drs every single year for the last 10+ years) I appreciate the time she spent ensuring my vision was ok, that my new prescription was going to be the right fit, etc. She even fixed my current glasses after I mentioned they kept falling off me (without me having to ask) Overall, I am very pleased and I am glad I found a reliable eye Dr in Avon!

Today my daughter had her first appointment with them and it was the best experience , from the person who is at the reception , Dr. Elizabeth to the person who helps you choose your glasses wow !! they are the kindest people , thank you very much , these places make you feel welcome and continue to visit and , of course , recommend them , Many blessings.

I had some sudden eye irritation that I needed to get checked out immediately, as I was leaving for vacation the next day and was going to be driving for 10 hours. After calling several optometrists, Bright View Family Vision was the only office that could get me in same-day. The gentleman who I spoke with on the phone and worked the front desk was very kind and accommodating to me. Dr. Allspaw was incredible. She explained everything she was doing as she checked my eye and my vision. She explained all of the costs up front and how it would be handled by my insurance. It was the best experience I've ever had at the eye doctor and this will be my new optometrist. I highly recommend this office to anyone.

Above and Beyond!! I thankfully didn't look at their hours and called them. I had been wood working and my eye was in severe pain. They still took me even though their day was about to end. They were so kind and the exam/evaluation didn't hurt!! I'm a new patient, that kind of compassion is getting rare. I highly recommend Dr. Allspaw!!
