I don't know what i was thinking coming to walmart for an eye exam. I've been waiting 2 weeks for trial contacts! Not a set, just one pair. I asked if I could order my eye lenses for my glasses, I'm told that it's to late to order "because we close in 25 minutes ". Overall terrible business. Go to another establishment and your money. Pam isn't and wasn't much help!

I'm in town visiting and took my granddaughter to have her eye exam. The doctor was excellent as was the entire team. They were super helpful in checking for her insurance. They were even graceful when I took the prescription and frame choices & measurements to order in my home store. (I'm a vision center manager in another state). Thanks for a great experience! I will be sending my son & daughter-in-law to see you soon (and they will order there)

I bought glasses from Walmart in April and within three months they scratched beyond being able to see through them. They're very bad and it's like blurring my vision. I went to the Walmart store where I purchased them and they were very friendly and wrote up the order to have them replaced, but their machine was down or something wasn't working so they referred me to Avon. They said Avon would be able to take care of me. However, when I walked in, Pam immediately told me that she couldn't help me they didn't cover incidental scratches in coatings and like didn't even look through to see how bad the lenses were. She just immediately told me what they couldn't do. I don't know why she wouldn't even try or give me the same response that Brownsburg did. So I did not appreciate it and it doesn't matter to me how long it takes Brownsburg to fix the machine. I will take my business back to Brownsburg for sure. Friendly service goes a long way. Poor service is an immediate no thank you.

The actual eye exam was great and they have a nice selection of frames. I felt pressured to buy more expensive lenses when I was finishing up, though. Walmart is not any cheaper than anyone else if you have vision insurance. My glasses that I ordered arrived late and they still had marker lines on them from the lab. I am going back to my Optometrist next time. I would rather give him the money and I feel more valued there.

My son's first eye exam went swimmingly. Ordered the glasses and was told they usually arrive in 3-5 business days. Called to see if they arrived on the 5th day and then was told they usually take 7-10 business days. That's one strike. Waited until the 7th day and called just to check. They said they had been shipped, so I waited until the 10th day. Called to check and they said they were still not there. Strike two. Told the clerk I was not happy with how long it was taking to get them and she said "OK". Not, "Sir, let me call the lab and find out why they're taking so long". She said "I can't control what they do at the lab". She could care less about my happiness! Strike three! You're out! Won't be going back to Walmart vision center ever again! Her approach to this situation is not what I would consider customer service!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I know that my eyes are bad but when my new glasses came in, I couldn't see out of them properly. I explained this to the Optician. She looked at my eye prescription and actually said that both of her eyes doesn't even equal my right eye. She made me feel like it was my fault that my eyes are bad. I then explained to her that I was unable to see out of my left eye. She said with a script like that, you won't see out of your left. I said, WHAT? That's not right. My right eye is bad and now you want my left eye to be bad. I said that is Fxxxed up!! I got a fully refund and went somewhere else. I explained my experience at Walmart and they were appalled. WORST EXERIENCE EVER!!! NEVER WOULD I RECCOMEND THIS WALMART EYE CENTER!! I had read the bad reviews but decided to go there anyway since it was close to home. Talk about a lesson learned. READ AND BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!!

Doctor is rude! Went for an irritated eye not an exam when I was working in Indy! Doctor did the exam anyway did not treat my irritated eye and then wouldn't order me contacts or give me my contact prescription. Was given the choice of driving two hours back there to pick up the script or paying for another exam elsewhere. When I asked for the doctors name to give a review receptionist told me she wouldn't disclose that information. Waste of money and time.

Dealing with Pam at the walmart eye care. I asked a simple general question about what Davis Insurance covered for frames. Her response "we can't give you that information without plugging your name in and looking it up." As I'm juggling an 18 mo. Old and my 8 yr old granddaughters. She was very rude and her customer service was terrible. If you see Pam working, go somewhere else.
