I have been waiting for close to 2 weeks past the date my sons glasses were promised. The most irritating part is that there is no communication from the office. I have had to call daily asking what was taking so long. Communication with the patient would be nice.

After getting 3 notifications I am due for a eye exam from OSSIP (Vanarsdale) I called them the Tuesday before last. They were open but my message went to voicemail. I assumed they were on lunch and went about my day. Days went by without a call about scheduling my appointment. The next Tuesday rolls around and I decide I will find an alternative. I called Coers Family Optometry. They made my appointment although it was a month out at least it was an appointment. I then called OSSIP again to request my records. The lady that answered was nice enough I told her I had called a week ago and never received a call back about an appt. so I made one elsewhere. She said she would be happy to gather my records for pick up. I was SHOCKED ! there was no, I apologize, our voicemail wasn't working, or we must have over looked returning your call, or can I make you an appointment now ? I didn't say anything and accepted it. Today I got a call from Coers and they have a cancellation for Monday I accepted and wen to pick up my records. While I was at OSSIP I spoke with the lady up front I told her how disappointed I was and how no one offered an apology or tried to rectify the situation. And on top of that I got another reminder this morning to make an appointment ! She said well normally people have made their mind up at that point. I said but no one even tried or cared the ball Was dropped. Even as I stood in front of her and expressed my concerns and I was very understanding and told her I know that things happen but my family owns a business and I'm in charge of things like that I would have been completely apologetic and done whatever I could to make the customer happy. But I feel as if my business didn't matter. She said I understand. Still there was no offer to schedule me an appointment nor was there an apology not one time I am extremely disappointed in this business in the way that the front desk handled the situation. Backstory I have no history negative with this business at all. I have no trouble paying my bill there no open balance that would give them a reason to not schedule me. I had been going there when I was younger and felt very comfortable with this business and their doctors. I had just moved back to this ophthalmologist and had only been there once since a new doctor took over and I had a very pleasant experience and I was excited to be working with somebody who didn't charge an arm and a leg but also was quality. I'm the type of person racked my brain for answers and I just can't figure this one out I can't figure why you would lose business why you wouldn't care enough to try to save business that you rightfully we're losing. There's got to be no way the owners know about the situation. Or I would think they would be extremely disappointed also.

Great place to get your eye exam and glasses. My last two annual examinations here have been great and the Oakley Glass I got here is still working great.

Very nice optical place with very friendly staff.

Cant get anyone to answer phone and waiting now almost a month for my very pricey glasses
